Bloomfield NM , not something stupid
I'm not much into build threads just the build.
Here is a projectI started as a new bright jeep then found this body and had to start over on it. The body I got off the Bay , it was a MP3 RC POS. I used an AX-10 for a donor on the axles , tranny , drivelines and shocks. I know they are not very scale , but funds dont allow the nice shocks right now. Mudslingers on hummer wheels on the truck and some Hi-Lift tires on the trailer. The truck is four linked , with all Delrin links and the trailer has some hi-lift leafs. Pretty much everything else I made. The trailer is made from 22 ga sheet metal , brazed together. The tailgate swings down too. All frame rails are made from 1/2" square tube , halfed and braised. The roof rack and ladder is made from 1/8" rod. the expanded steel I got from Wallys , started life as a trash can. Made a hi-lift jack and shovel from styrene and dowell. The wife sewed me some cool sleeping bags and a cloth top for the trailer. I also made a tow strap with shackles and chain hooks on the ends. I found the overhead lights at Lowes , they were little clip on lights to go on your pocket, I made the mount from aluminum channel. The bumpers are made from steel and brakeline , the rear bumper tire carrier swings away to reveal access to the back doors.I feel i'm rambling on so here are the pictures.

Thanks for the comments fellas , I had a blast building it . The lights I got at Lowes , they were like a clip on to you pocket , and had a flexible "neck" . I used the housing and the neck and made the mount out of aluminum channel .

looks great.
im workin on a project with the same body.
i had the same little bent antenna, too.
i heated it a little with a lighter and slid some tubing over it til it cooled.
its been straight for months!

looks great. Can you tell us more about the body? I've been using the hummv body from my old Timaya hummer RC car, but it's so busted up it really looks horrible and I can't seem to locate a new body w/ all of the little extra "trees" that you need to assemble it.

Thanks guys , I knew the bike was small , it says 1:18 scale , but I thought it would pass for a kids bike , like a 60 or something. Hell I had to have somethin to put in the trailer.

A huge gun of some sort lol. Thing looks beast man like it should be pulling some heavy duty gear. Nice build.

The body is easy, just ebay search for rc hummer. I think its 1/6 scale wally world toy. I like your build man, nice work. I also have to agree with you, the shocks gotta go. They look huge and out of place. A nice set of scalers will really complete the truck, IMO. Again, nice work."thumbsup"
