Thanks! It does look like that, but they are seated just fine. Must be the picture.

Yea I was thinking it was probably the pic....mainly that shadow at the top, you see how its sort of flat? Yea thats why. Glad to see someone finally 1.55'd 'em though "thumbsup"

I am loving my Pitbulls. I ran them in our clubs G6 this past Sat. We run at a farm and I got the sidewall of the tire caught up and wraped around some barbed wire. The sidewall is still good. I have seen many complaints that the sidewalls are too thin.

How about I reply in normal color and font ;-)
They are both great tires and the new rc4wd compound is very close performance wise to these, but theyu need foam tuning for a lightweight rig where as these don't. If you run a pig then the rc4wds are great with stock foams but these aren't. It really comes down to what you want looks wise "thumbsup"

thank you, I have been reading the same about the foams.

I bought Both so when I get the Tires I will be doing some testing.

I want performance, I am thinking that the way the tire lugs are between the pits and the Iroks that the pits have more tire contact and harder edge. wonder if the IroKs lugs will fold over , IF they do, then I would say the pits would do better. in theory.

They are both an amzing tire! RC4WD really hit it out of the park with their new compound, that being said Pitbull did the first time! So it really just depends on what you want your rig to look like 8)

how did you make your pits look so TALL

mine look so short and fat lol

Hey mate only guessing but narrower rims, will make a tyre taller. Secondly depending on what foams he has used it may have an impact. The comp i ran in on the weekend some of the guys commented the same on mine. I run duel stage C.I. Foams and the inner firm is bigger than the stock and the Nova outeter's are a firmer than the stock P.B. Foams.

They are cut n shut 2.2s that Turbofest made for him....
ahh thanks. i KNEW they were substantially taller than mine. glad i'm not going crazy lol

Did he put the 1.9 tread on a 2.2 sidewall? Because those aren't 2.2 treads.

they're 1.9 tread for SURE. i'm gonna guess that the added section seen in the first pic make the bead a 2.2 bead for a 2.2 rim.

they are 1.9s made to 2.2s by TURBOFEST, you can see the added section of tire in the first picture. i am running a 1 inch wide wheel.

thanks for the info man!

They look really good on excesivefire's go fast buggy. Wish they would have made them a smidgen taller, they look too short and fat for me stock.

So I took the pitbul 1.9 tires idea to heart. only issue was they were to small, so I used an extra tire, and turned them into a 2.2

This pic is from the latest RECON G6 Challenge, "Embrace the Suck" held @ Sugar Pine Reservoir. Stage conditions went from ice to Alabama Ickey Sticky and if you have to ask, it's red clay mud that sticks to everything.

How does the grip feel when the tire is that much "clogged"? Is the grip completely lost or does this tire clean itself easily?
