14mm Hex Maxx Wheels on Wraith or AX10

So, I was browsing eBay last night and ran across a set of brand new take-offs from a regular eMaxx for a great deal so I ordered them. Anyway, the offset looks way too much for the Wraith or AX10 but I want to stick them on anyway.

I'm thinking more along the lines of converting the AX10 to a "scale" monster truck so it looks like the ones you see in Monster Jam. My 4 year old son drives the AX10 and would love that.

I've seen a few hub extenders for 12-12 but nothing from 12-14. Has anyone seen any of these? I want to order something before the wheels show up so I can get it rolling this weekend. I've searched and it looks like you can get some custom made but wanted to see if there was an off the shelf (with some modifying) version that I could use.

I think its ckrc that makes the spacer/adapters you need. I've got a set of 40 series sticky moans on narrowed proline beadlocks I'll be running in the snow that use a 23mm hex.

Integy makes a 12-14 adapter that should work as I used them on a stampede to put Tmaxx wheels and tires on it

Hey that won't work. The conversion kit from Traxxas won't fit the 5mm stub axles on the Wraith/Honchos. It's for the 6mm Stub axles on the Stampede/Rustlers. The Stub Axle Pins 2.0mm x 10mm (part AX30163) on the Wraiths/Honshos, and the pins on the Stampede/Rustler is 2.5mm in diameter (traxxas part 2754).So you MAY have to drill out the axle by 0.5.mm to accommodate the Integy 12-14mm hex adapter, unless it’s designed for the 2.0mm pin. But I couldn't recommend drilling them out. That miiiiiiight be tarded.
I hate the minutia of obsession.
Here's another quote from a user named "thedreadedend" on another site:
"I looked at the 14mm hex set from traxxas. You can't just pop a set on. First, the axles are 5mm and 14mm hex is for a 6mm axle. 2nd, the pin is a hair bigger than yours from the 12's. You would need a conversion hub to pull it off...."

Thanks Chubby. I almost bought those. Basically, I got a set of EMaxx wheels, tires, foams brand new for $25 shipped so I figured I'd pick them up. Based on the looks of them the offset is pushed way too far to the outside edge so the wheels will need extenders.

I'm thinking now I can get 3/4" extenders and the little "hat" type 12-14mm adapter and use that.

I hope you've got some aluminum chubs and knuckles, those giant tires are going to snap the stock ones like dry twigs the first time you bump into something.

Also, a good strong steering servo.

Aluminum you say..... Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm looking into all these options too. I want big tires simply to drive on snow.
My Ripsaw R35's and my daughter's Talons off her Stampede still won't keep my Wroncho afloat on snow. Got some IMEX Truck Pulls on order and I'm just obsessing in the mean time.
In short, I want to copy the fella who hikes with his E-Maxx through the Pyrenees and his recommendation were the stock E-Maxx tires and to me, it looked like an easy conversion. This is if my Truck Pulls don't do the trick.

Did you look at the link? I just happened to use them on a stampede but also on my clod axles, tamiya cr01, and see no reason they wouldn't work as its has nothing to do with stub diameter or even the pins. They go over the 12mm hex on the rig and use a barrel nut that is 4mm like almost all metric rc stub axles.

Nope. Apparently I just enjoy giving out wrong advice!
I actually did but was giving out that advice because I had thought they would only fit Clods and didn’t take it upon myself to look up the specs on them.
I’ve spent probably 30 hours just reading up on how to get bigger wheels on my Wroncho and didn’t think those would work because of the pin/stub size blah blah blah I’m a newb idiot.
Thought I was helping
My apologies.

And thanks for the advice too.

I've got aluminum chubs and knuckles on the Wraith. I think I'll try out the adapters since it looks like they may work.
