1941 Jeep super scale in 1/6 RTR by RocHobby

What was the price of this Jeep about a year ago? Is it me or did this thing skyrocket in price recently?

I don't know...I paid less for mine on Amazon than people did a year ago when they were ordering them from RCMart, Etc. Mine was under $300 to my door.

Nice! Just ordered off Amazon. $294.44 delivered tomorrow. :ror:

Mine came in a few days ago as well. Shocks had the "known issue" so I bled and reloaded with silicone and backed off the lower shock shaft o-ring screw. Problem solved.

Next flip driveshafts, old crawler trick, in order not to damage the splines on the shaft while crawling. Flip them, problem solved.

Also slipped some heatshrink over the famous pins that fall out.

Replaced servo horn with an aluminum one.

Painted wires and anything shiny silver, flat black. Engine compartment a bit of color.

Just waiting for my sub $15 1/6 Gi-joe doll.

Drives nice once the known issues have been addressed. Great deal during the Amazon shizzle.

Mine is out for delivery, Amazon had a 10% off coupon. While I was looking it jumped in my cart & headed to checkout. It was like a wild fire I couldn't stop it.

I must have missed this one, where are these pins, might as well fix them while I'm waiting for it to cool off, heat index here 110

Meanwhile I have been dressing it up a little

Nice clip - and beautiful crawl spot.

Harrison Ford looks content to take the wheel!
