So, I want you guys to tell me that I'm just losing my head here, but here is the story:

I had all of my old R/C equipment shipped to me by my old folks as they were getting stuff together for a garage sale. Part of what I got is my old Futaba 2PL programmable 75 mHz transmitter and R114JE receiver (close to top of the line 12 years ago).

I've been using mostly Spektrum 2.4 gHz transmitters/receivers for the past 2 years or so. So decided to use the old system in my front wheel drive touring car project, and low and behold, the steering and throttle response was just that much more improved.

Most noticeable was the steering, since I was using a Futaba high speed servo, that up until this point was really responsive, now it's just that much faster.

So am I just crazy or have other people noticed this as well?
