Im a big Chevy guy but here lately the wifes Tahoe is putting a sour taste in my mouth. Anyway its a 2009 Tahoe 4x4 Fully loaded LTZ. The biggest problem we have is here this week the stereo/nav unit began wigging out. It has the dvd rear entertainment, touchscreen display, nav, Bose, backup camera, etc and up until recently it was awesome. Sounds amazing and was pretty easy to use. It all still works but its acting up by being super slow. Crank it up and it takes a good minute for the radio to come on. Then it takes at least a minute for the nav to come up, then if you push any of the touch screen buttons to navigate the system weather it be nav or radio or aux, etc it takes a minute to do anything. Then finally you can cut the truck off and open the door and the system stays on for about a minute before turning off where it would normally cut off as soon as you open the door. Its like the whole system is lagging and running really slow. Anyone have a similar problem with their Chevy system? Anyone have some advise for a aftermarket system that retains all the stock controls and options? Chevy forums suck and i have searched to no avail.
