I am building a bumper for this rig, and just had to share it with you all. Let me know what you think. The guy I am building it for wanted an ARB style with a stinger, grill guard, headlight guards, and D-ring mounts.

Let me know what you all think"thumbsup"

Pictures from start to present. This is how it showed up:

Little trimming:

I love this sticker. It really holds true in the end:

I built the lower section completely out of flat stock:

The ugly start:

It is now time to start building the stinger. With this, he wanted something that didn't stick up too high, and also something that didn't stick out too far. Basically, something that you would typically see rollin down the street.

Here is my take on that:

List of things to do still:

D-ring mounts
Mount the fairlead
Cleanup
Mount it to the chassis
Run fender tubes from light guards to the rock rails

Got the frame mounting bracket all done, so now it stays up there on its own"thumbsup"

Also threw a set of D-ring tabs on it while I was at it.

Sweet bumper! Love the plate look. I want to try one, but I'm pretty sure it will suck. What thickness of sheet did you use? Looks like everything is mig welded..?

Give it a shot. Just take your time and measure from your center point for most of your measurements.
Not sure what the guage is of the sheet metal. It is around 1/32" thick, and you are correct, it is all mig welded"thumbsup"

looks great as just a bumper PHILL, dont add tube on the fenders. tube fenders on anythink but a jeep ruins a hole build.

This isn't my personal rig. I am building on it for a friend"thumbsup"

As far as the tube fenders go.....too late:ror:

Jeeps do own the tube fenders though"thumbsup"

The added piece is going to go on it. Well, not that exact piece, but I am building one to go there.

Why stop there?:ror: We wrapped the whole truck in tubing. Now we're done"thumbsup"

This picture here isn't the completed version, but it shows how it all removes as one piece"thumbsup"
