2011 Turkey Crawl 4 Kids - LRC Sand Rock, AL Nov. 19-20

1,270 mile round trip and back in SW AR. Had a good time at the comp. Really liked the course setups. Glad we could help out a local charity too! And always good to put faces with names.

Thanks to everyone who helped put on the event. Organizers, judges, sponsors, cooks, camera men/women, and everyone else.
Thanks to CowRC for the mini work mat and whomever supplied the Castle BEC!

Thanks to my sponsors Crawler Innovations and Holmes Hobbies.
John supplying the electronics to get the power down to Eddie's tires and foams "thumbsup".

Just got in from one of the best events I have been to. I had a great time this weekend hanging out with everyone new and old. Thanks for all the support from a great bunch of drivers from all over.

Ryan, you did a great job grabbing the bull by the horns and making this thing happen and for such a great cause. Thank you.

Also, thanks to all the sponsors who supported this event. My son has a new XR10 now. Thanks Axial! And a big thanks to Crawler Innovations for the servo guard to go on it!

Thanks to Lushtrucker for the awesome food.

Congrats to the top 5 in 2.2, Ryan for 1st in Super, and Cavie for 1st in 1.9.

And to my sponsor BWD, thank you for the great chassis. It really worked well this weekend.

Michael you not got videos uploaded yet???

Plenty of pictures and video to follow....Stay tuned."thumbsup"

Man what a great time I had....

Sitting at home on my arse  wish I could have made it, just didn't have the money. Same reason I quit comping all together. Can't wait to see some videos. Congrats to the top 5! Glad to see Dunn back in it "thumbsup"

A little heads-up would have been nice, instead of leaving us trying to recruit another judge at the drivers nearing.

All because I didn't openly want to explain why I couldn't come doesn't mean I didn't text Ryan a good bit before hand to tell him I wasn going to make it. Sorry if I hindered the comp in any way. Believe me I did not want to miss this comp

Thank you Sponsors! Big thanks to crawler innovations and big ron for my door prizes. I had a blast even tho I wasn't feeling very good. It was good to meet a bunch of new people and put some faces with names. Thanks to Ryan and everyone that helped make this possible. "thumbsup"

What a great comp!!

Ryan, A Big Thanks for getting this together again. You did a fantastic job. I think it went very smoothly. 2.2 pro, awards, and raffle all before dark . Nice work.

Thanks again to all the ETRC crew. Had a great time as always hanging out with all of you. Thanks for my spotters, could not have done as well without you.

Thanks to Walter and Chris for the grub. I stayed full all weekend.

Congrats to all the top drivers in all classes.

Thanks for the competition in 1.9! I was lucky to pull out a win, but all the drivers did work! It was a lot of fun.

And I wanted to say it was nice to meet all of the people that drove a long way for this comp and for the cause. We did a good thing.

And Thanks to anyone I left out.

Ready for the next one!!!!!!

First off...I owe the greatest thanks to my wife for putting up with me and my hobbies (all of them), and ALL of my friends that stepped up to help make this event run smoothly "thumbsup" including but not limited to:

limited77 - THANKS for everything you do...and to Jenny and WILLIAM!
Slowsis - Thanks for helping out in so many different ways I can't even remember "thumbsup"
Slowbro - Thanks for making the trip and if nothing else...thanks for bringing your wife so she drive and help out!
divingsolo - I can recall a few times where your humor helped lighten the mood...:lmao:
Monstergt - You did some of the best driving I've ever seen out of you this weekend...keep it up!
Chris_BC - This guy deserves a huge round of applause for not only judging all day Saturday, but for ALL of the courses in 1.9 and Supers!
lushtrucker - Wish I could have spent spent more time hanging out around the grill...great driving in Super class 8)
awd199 - He may be known as the "meat rubber" but he's an all around great guy...thanks!
jeepsohigh - Glad you chose to make the 8 or so hour trip to join us and it was great hanging our and running 1.9's and Supers! I still can't believe you Super held together through all of the crap you put it through  Good work!

ETRC - Thanks guys for being such great supporters of this hobby and working hard to keep it fun...it is appreciated! Ya'll have a great group of guys and appreciate all of the help this weekend.

Rusty (rockpayne) - Man I'm glad you could make it down and that there were so many willing to step up and help you get there. Your humor and kind words really do make things easier!

Thank you VERY much everyone for the kind words. I'm glad I could make this event happen and keep it moving for it's 3rd year in a row. Jeff (Rockcrawler) did a great job building it up the past two years....it would have been a shame to see it fall apart.

A HUGE thanks to all of the sponsors that really do help to make these events possible. Let's face it...without them most of us wouldn't have the rigs we have...or be able to drive them as hard as we do! Let's give another thanks to:

BIG CONGRATS to Ryan (Ittybitty) for making this event happen and placing well in all 3 classes. my hats off to you for stepping up and making this event a possibilty for everyone to attend and donate.

another BIG CONGRATS to all the top drivers and everyone who signed up for this comp and raised money for the cause. looks like everyone had a great time. hate i was unable to attend but hope my "drop in the bucket" donation helped. looks like the SCRCC guys really stepped up to help with the event as well. great job guys/gals. hope i can make it to the next one.

Yes sir your donation helped out...with 41 drivers competing we raised $205 and with a few "drop in the bucket" donations here and there we were able to bump it up to $250. Then a few more guys and a judge or two opted to donate their "refund" for judging to the charity as well. This means the total donation will be $300 "thumbsup"

I also wanted to give a big "thumbsup" to everyone that threw some money in the pot for Eli so that Fish can make something happen for him...if I remember correctly he gathered up $200 within 5 minutes...the RCC community really is a great group of people!
