2013 Goat Hill Scale Team Challenge

officially re-scheduled for
June 1st
really hated to have to do this to everyone & hope you can still make it !
but with the weather not cooperating,
we have not much of a chance to do anything much to the trails this year.
putting on the BEST show we can was the main reason for the rescheduling,
plus it looks like rain for next week end & a wet Goat Hill trail is a No Go.
been wanting to upgrade the trail some & other things for this event,
have everything finished & ready to run - just not quite there yet.
we have the first place team plaques finished (ones like last year "thumbsup")
all-long with trophies for 2ed, 3rd & 4th places,
plus smaller awards for everyone else !!
& now a FREE EVENT !!
if for some reason you cant make vary sorry, but don't worry !!
still planing on two more big scale events at Goat Hill r/c off-road park this year,
along with doing something with the Holmes Trail-master challenge in august!!

just like to say thanks to everyone who showed up today at Goat Hill,
"NOT"
only one person showed today to help out today !!
& he came from way out of town to do so.
not one of our local members showed !
really disappointed Guys.
seems like there just a few members that care about this club any more !!
i am getting tired of being the only one who shows early everytime,
go the extra step & working my ass off,
hauls everything around & trays to keep everything going for this club.
i know everyone has things to do with family - work - or whatever.
but so do I,
but i still make time to keep things moving forward - club wise !
if everyone is lousing interest in crawling or showing up early to help out.
then fine !
i am about there my self now & about ready to quit doing the club administration duty's all together !
so its going to be up to you guys from now on to,
show up early to set up comps - stay to pick things up when everyones finished,
& help out when you can.
i hate to through this out to everyone like this,
but everyone involved in this club has to do there part,
& not just rely few people to do everything !

sorry not a member of the club just got my wraith a few weeks ago so getting use to the crawling thing.Its still stock no big mods yet.I would like to see an event or two and figure out what all i can do to start participating in the events and help ya out. I live up in lawson. I would like to find out where this goat hill rc park is? and is this some where you can go at any time during the day to play arround at looking for new places all the time. Ive been running at crystal lakes spill way wich is got some really nice areas to run in and rocky hollow wich they are both close to me and have a farm that i can run the big creek . Some where new would be great.

Goat Hill is privet property & we can only be there on scheduled dates.
normally were there a least once a month or more.
never during the week - only weekends.

Maybe it is time to take a break Jerry.
you sound very frustrated and it shouldn't be that way. when it stops being fun it becomes work.
You do a great job and that's because you put so much energy and passion into it. When others don't do the same it's easy to feel under appreciated, and it's very understandable, don't get me wrong.
I enjoy comping and scaling as much as I ever did. But now that my dad has passed away I have even less time for RC with a farm to take care of and helping my mother, so I'm sorry about that. I'll be around even less unfortunately

im still needing a 2.2 partner.if i cant find 1 real quick im out for june 1st.cant justify (or really afford) throwin any more $ into my rig if i cant even find a teamate.
I am also guilty of showing up late at tmes. This year has been a bit of a chllenge for RC stuff. I am always willing to do my part when available. But I'm sure things wil all work out. Jerry you are always appreciated in all you do for the club.
