2014 Axial RECON G6 Adventure Series Event #1 "Axial RECON Ultra4 G6" Feb.8th

Re: 2014 Axial RECON G6 Adventure Series Event #1 "Axial RECON Ultra4 G6" Feb.8th

Will it be at the same spot as last year?
Word from the G6 crew:

New location. But close to where it was last time. Look for Axial tent by short course track.

Just something better than the stock wraith noodle tie rod and drag link. I went to 6 hobby shops today, and not one even had spur gears, let alone hop up parts..... they all sold axial rtr vehicles though.
The rubber stock link is actually good for little guys, like your kids. It flexes and prevents breakage. I understand wanting to get rid of the flex, though. You might be able to find someone with an aluminum link out there.

PS, my daughter got a Wraith at around 8 years old. She's 11 now and it still has everything stock except the motor. She burned the stock one up. And she goes to all the G6es with me. Its been run hard. Overall its durable for a kid.

The G6 is 25.00 to enter, do you need to pay the $20 donation for spectators?

Thanks guys. Stock it is. Yes its for my kid. No need for a separate band as the main koh race week is over.

I'm thinking this would be cool for Axialfest. At least the day stage. Just thinking.

Glad your first was a good one,Mako. Not that they aren't all good, because they are. Start planning for the next one.

WHAT AN EPIC EVENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had a great time with a lot of great people.
It was awesome helping fellow G6ers get through the course.

A big shout out goes to C. Webb for rebuilding two rigs before the G6 even started!
Chris changed out a motor for a G6er that had just bought the wraith the night before at the AXIAL truck.
He also rebuilt a transmission and replaced drive lines just so a G6er could get their G6 cherry POPPED, and POPPED it was in one of the windiest, dustiest G6s that I can remember.

It was also amazing to watch gottorque and his unbelievable driving skill and JEEP that made everything look way too easy! His slow and methodical driving style got him through TMs with style!!!
It was great hanging out with you gottorque... Thanks for the wind break!

But that all said it was very nice to be home and have a HOT shower and a home cooked meal!!!

Until next time,

TREE
