2014 Trail Ride Series

New guy from Madison, I got a little burn going on wanting a crawler but was wanting to go watch somewhere first. This Clifty Falls run is literally in my back yard !!! I ride bikes out there often. I will likely be there to watch. Doug...

Cool, I live in Madison too. You should also check out/join our Facebook group. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up.

What is the group called, I browsed around last eve but did not find it.......................Edit, I see now.

What is the most common chassis for a truck in your group. ???

Most common are Axial SCX10 and Wraith. There are others that are just as good but not as common.

Look forward to you coming out on Sunday. Please feel free to ask any questions that you would like.

Might be 2 or 3 of us come to watch for a while, we have raced short coarse trucks together and I for 1 am tired of the competitive part of RC, took too much fun away this looks fun again....

I have been intrigued by the Berg MOA stuff and was headed that direction till I found this group with a more scale theme it looks like.

There are a few others in the group that usually attend these trail rides that also grew tire of the RC competitions. The only objective is to have fun playing with toy trucks. The only rules are that it has to be electric and four wheel drive.

2014 Trail Ride Series presents "Back to Our Roots" Night Trail Ride

What: Non-competitive night trail ride for Electric scale 4X4 RC trucks

When: October 4, 2014. Driver meeting is at 6:30 PM EST and the trail ride will start immediately after, so be on time.

Where: Williams Park, 940 South Locust Lane, Brownsburg IN. After entering the park please driver to the parking lot at the back of the park. We will meet in the left shelter.

This trail ride will be limited to 25 vehicles so that we can complete the 25-30 scale miles in the allotted time of 4 hours. The trails will range from easy to rugged. Waterproofing will not be required. Lights, either on the vehicle or in the form of a headlamp, as well as a working winch or tow strap, will be required. Every effort will be made to make this event as scale as possible which means the use of the "Hand of God" will be prohibited.
If you are one of the 25 driver please have your truck tested and RTR at the 6:30 PM drivers meeting. Also, have at least 4 hours worth of batteries charged and ready. We will not be coming back to the starting point during the trail ride so any tools or spare parts for field repairs should be carried with you.
If you are going to attend this event please post up or send me a message so that we can keep a list of the number of drivers to not exceed the 25 truck limit.

Hope you see you on the trail.
