Also, not mentioned in the above article. But its been rumored ford has been working a twin turbocharged v8 for the new mustang. Its code named voodoo and rumored to push 600+ hp

Figured i'd toss that out there as well...mostly because i'd like to see the same/similar engine in the raptor or superdutys (Could be their ecoboost v8)

Looks like a Mustang, Hyundai, and Mitsubishi had a three way.

I don't know why auto mfg's are is such a hurry to change a good thing. The current body style rocks. Except for the tiny hid headlights...

As a long-time Mustang owner/fan, I generally like it. I think the rear end, especially profile view, could have used some more time on the drawing board though. Overall, I am impressed and excited to get my hands on one.

As a ford owner only since I got my drivers license at age 16; I have to say I think ford is taking some of heritage/roots away from the mustang to an extent.

The mustang got popular by design and price..An affordable car the average joe could afford and turn it into what they want...One of the most versatile
cars ever made..But today its not such an affordable car for the masses..who would of thought in 93 you could buy a mustang for 16 17k and today
they are upwards of 30 40 50k and more..Not exactly something the average person can spend on a car..In time I see the mustang becoming more like
the corvette..power in the hands of the mediocre rich..This will kill mustang sales as we used to know it ...id still rather have a well built older mustang
any day over the newer models

not all that impressed. its still a mustang, 5.0L and its roughly 8MPH faster then my 2.0L VW? and its still a mustang.

then again the only mustang I've ever liked was one of the 2 seat concept sports car. with they actually made those.

Yes, but the Mustang is electronically limited to that speed, and doesn't need 7 minutes to reach it. :lmao:

I kinda like it, I can see some influence of their days with Aston Martin as well.

lol it don;t take that long for my VW to get to top speed. its a quick little car. but yea my top speed is after the computer was worked, I don know if the electronic limit was removed or just pushed back by the work.

I'm a big mussel car guy, but I don't like it, then I've rarely liked mustangs, and I've rarely liked the "new" mussel cars, so its got 2 strikes against it off the bat. gimmie a pre 80's mussel car or none at all.
