2015 scale rules discussion or question thead

yeah that sounds good. could also make a chassis to fit in the channels on the bellypan i guess.

i assume bumpers and sliders gotta be mounted to this chassis but nowhere does it say the body cant add a structural element to those bumpers.

Are the bumpers the real issue here? Is a pan chassis not defined as anything that creates a "tub"? This this would fit. Then the body becomes the chassis and jobs done.
It looks super small so there is not really any advantage being made.

I dont know, just my 2cents - But Im surprised anyone one is fighting it saying it is completely scale, completely different, and cool. A good paint job and it would look killer on any course.

no the bumpers arent the issue, its putting a rail chassis through what in my opinion is a tub chassis thats the issue.

for me to open this thing up ill have to cut into it more than id like to, which completely ruins the cool factor of having a one piece body & chassis thats more than sturdy enough to bolt bumpers and sliders onto.

and it would be a cool and different way to build a rig.

Disregard this.. I got an error code when I submitted it and can't delete it just edit the post for some reason..

How about TSS's new SLW Brake Drums? I assume they're legal now,but if I buy a set will they be legal next year?

I don't think wheel weights are every going to become illegal. It's the comp style knuckle weights that they are trying to keep out of scale.

I'm asking because sorrca rules say class 1 must have cab and bed... class 2 only says what kinds of bed you can have but doesn't say you must have a bed.. hopefully someone can clear this up for me..

That's a illegal class 2 rig. You have to throw it out!! [emoji23]

Which is it? Legal or not? I've got a buddy with a similar dilemma. He's running full frame rails with a small plastic roll bar.
