20T....27T......50T Oh my!

The Pro unit is basically 2 of the regular versions together. No need for it unless you are running two or more very high torque servos (400+ each).
So harley if I did rear steer on one with 2 savox 1268sg servo's would I need the pro bec or would the regular be fine?

On the Holmes site they recommend a 13, 16 and 21 turn motor for crawling but from everything I have read on here 35t seems to be a very good for crawling so does holes make a 35t?

Yes Holmes makes a 35 turn. He has a few different style motors to suit different needs and they have a ton more torque than a Novak or Integy. I have Holmes 21, 25, 27 and 35 turn motors. I love them all. The 21 turn has way more torque than your average 45 or 55 turn. Once I went with a Holmes motor I never even consider buying another brand.

This thread has been helpful for me as well, still learning (new to crawling/trail running, and renew to the hobby afer several years),thanks guys for posting/asking/answering this "thumbsup"

Harley,LOVE your avatar, makes me :lmao: every time I sees it "thumbsup"

I just replaced my 20t with a 55t motor and I seemed like a lot more torque. I didn't change any of the gears but I have plans in the near future for doing so.

I just got the holmes 35t and it is a torque monster. The drag brake is absurd. I swear it will stop going down a wall and just sit there.
Im posiitive it will just twist the stock drive shafts to bits if I get the tires wedged in some rocks and hit some throttle. Tons of throttle control and finess with the 35t too. Will climb anything. I have the gearing recomended above for a 35t
