I tried to search, but could not find anything. Does anyone have any vids showing the wheel speed difference between these 3 common motors?

Ax-10 preferred.

Thanks

A big factor in choosing these 3 motors is the battery you will be running with it. I have run all 3 turns of motors. My Favorite is 35 turn on 3s Lipo. Awesome wheel speed and still has good low end grunt!! I also like it because there are times when you need that liitle extra to get you up to where you need to be on the rocks.

x2 well said. I run two 35t's on the berg and super. Ran one on the axial too, all on 3 cell lipos.

Even if you see a Video you have to account Pinion and gearing for different rigs...

I am now getting a tekin fxr with a 45t combo. Would you suggest switching to a 35t. right now i have a 2700 aa 7cell hump pack nimh. Will switch to lipo soon enough. How will the 35t run on the nimh compared to the 45t

sorry to thread jack

While we are on this subject...

Right now I have a 65T motor in my Axial that I'm powering with a 7-cell 2/3 C pack and a couple 6-cell 2/3 C (I know, go Lipo, I'm not ready to take that plunge just yet). While I love the low-end grunt of the 65T, its wheel speed (even geared at 18/78 ) flat out sucks. So I am going to get a new motor, but I can't decide between the 35T or the 45T. For my batteries I was leaning more towards the 45T, any thoughts???

My last comp...
I was trying to get up this rock that had a fairly slick face, even the best of trucks were given fits on this one. Taking my 20th run at this hill I hear someone yell, "Go full throttle!!! You gotta get some speed to get up it." Then I hear someone else say, "I think he's at full throttle." To which the first guy said, "Oh... he's dead..." That is when I decided to go to a new motor.

I have a 45t on 3s and it works great, a little more torque then a 35t but still good wheel speed, I might try a 35t next time but a 45t on 3s will blow away any rig running nimh batteries on 6,7, or 8 cells with the same motor, not to mention the added run time that lipo's of the same capacity give you."thumbsup"

45T has plenty of wheel speed on 3s lipo's. It will get you out of any situation that a quick burst of power/speed is needed. Remember it is a CRAWLER not a RACER"thumbsup"
