540 motors on rs10 WOW!!

I just recently installed 2 35t motor on my rs10 that were on my losi moa and i got to say amazing.Best thing i have done to my rs10.It takes a lot of axle case shaving but well worth the time.I keep the gear mesh on my gears kinda tight due to the plastic gears.I highly recommend doing this mod.

i have been debating some 400 size pullers or 540's when the metal gears come in. if i go with the 540's im gonna pick up some extra gear casing's for them.

You can run 400 size pullers with plastic gears if you don't have a heavy throttle finger.

i dont know if i want to make the 540 mod. ive bean stickin with the banebots but they were a help. but not a whole lot of difference. the next time some one makes the 540 mod could they post some pics of how they did it? because me and my cousin both have them and we are heavly moding them....

I have striped both First gears. so Im running a larger pinion and keep the mesh tight. also i have the gear box packed with Lucas X-tra heavy grease, but I pound on it Its damn fast with the large pinion but gears holding. I stripped both times when wheel was stuck in crack and i got on it hard..
No comp YET.. but im playing with a couple of guys 1-Losi 1/10 and one axiel mine is faster and I have kept up and wooped on um a few times .. My tires are crap but im currently working on them there new so im gonna fix rather than replace!!

Cool bud. Sorry but you cant fix the stock tires. Rovers are the way to go. Sounds cool bro.

I never had stock tiers either LOL I'm running some Intergy tower H. clearance tires!

I run 14t pinions f/r.I dont think you could fit any smaller pinion because of the shaft that holds the first gear.I cant adjust the gear mesh i made them to run 14t pinions.I didnt reseal the motor covers the opening.
