To keep the arguments out of the "where were you" thread, lets do it here.

This thread IS NOT about disrespecting the people who died tragically on that day, or those that have lost their lives since. It is not about disrespecting our nation or our troops. It is safe to say that none of us like what happened and are saddened and disgusted by the loss of life.

What this thread IS about is the details and circumstances of that day, and the parties that may or may not have been involved.

Agreed, but since 9/11 was the most recent incident in question we'll work from there. If it is how you say it is then it all fits together.

Start here and then open you mind to what if. I have no hard facts, I was not there and you all know how the internet is right? Believe nothing you hear and half of what you see.

The two things I have the hardest time wrapping my head around from 9/11 would be the plane that went down in Pennsylvania (Flight 93) and the one that hit the Pentagon (Flight 77).

The 93 spot never looked right to me. A little more investigation and I found that debris from that plane was found as far 8 miles away and was along its flight path before it crashed. I can't imagine airplane wreckage being flung that distance. They also found a nearly complete engine almost a mile away, also along the flight path. Why was it that far away and why wasn't it disintegrated like the rest of the plane supposedly was? Why was there just a small smouldering crater instead of a large area of scorched earth?

As far as 77 goes, the Pentagon still hasn't released any video worth examining. As I understand it, video was confiscated from a nearby gas station which had a camera aimed at its parking lot with the crash site in the background. That hasn't been released either.

Most of those were reported to be airphone calls, not cell calls.

it seems to me that alot of back doors were opened to let this happen..hijackers being allowed into the country and fly when on "lists", documented warning about the attack, no planes scrambled to deal with all these jetliners off course and transponders off..there are clear connections toi pakistan and saudi $$ as the financier of this act..going to war is big business and anyone who doesnt think your govt would hurt or steamroll its citizens for its own benefit or the benefit of those who really pull the strings needs to clue in..operation northwoods

I question a lot of what happened as fact from what we've been told.

There are glaring oddities still unexplained about many mysteries.

Hard to trust anyone in the government anymore though, so who knows.

the pentagon did not have any real debris......and the hole was nowhere near big enough for a full size plane to crash in to.

What about the black boxes at ground zero, they've supposedly never been recovered, melted or whatever, but there's never been a domestic plane crash where they've never been able to recover the boxes.
