I have always wanted to attend the Sema show but don't how to be able to attend it just to check everything out. Can anyone off the street check it out or do you have to be someone special. Only thing I can find is that you have to be with an automotive company of some sort. Any help would be great.

I attended a few years ago when I was selling and installing turbo kits.

We had to show that we were a legitimate business to attend.
I don't remember exactly all the details, but it was well worth it. "thumbsup"

SEMA is incredible.

We had a couple of our customers cars involved in a ride and drive program.
A couple of my buddy's were able to ride in some pretty sick cars while we were there.

I work at a Chevy Dodge and Jeep dealership, might have a talk with my boss to see if there is a way. I really want to go and hope I can do it.

you have to have a valid business license and a couple other things. If you do work at @ dealership talk to whoever is in charge of accessories and if its ok with them that you can attend.

try not to sign up as a vendor, everyone will be trying to sell you something, and whatever you do don't let em swipe the card they give you.( it is a big trade show and the intended purpose is to sell there product)

The outside area is usually free, but getting inside you need a badge. the 4 years i went they never changed the badge so we just kept using the the previous year ones and changing out the printed car that goes inside.

They check for badges right off the sidewalk, or right off the casino trams. If you have any good buddy's in the industry you can get badges.....

Dealerships can get them but your car brand has to have a booth setup at the show: IE dodge ford Chevy etc. and as stated above if your accessory sales are big more than likely you'll be able to get some, because dodge always has a mopar booth ford has a huge booth etc etc. Now they aren't free, but not super expensive either, just be sure to get an attendee badge not a vendor or buyer badge......

I've been going for years and they do change them every year by using different colors for what badge you have and by the endorsements on the badge holder.
