Air-Hog Havoc Helicopters....................WOW!!!

I have only run my new toy for two cycles, and I have little to no control over it..................but some of the most fun I have had clothed in my life!!!"thumbsup"

Can't wait to open this thing up in the office (more room) tomorrow!!


Any hints or tips? I am pretty sure I need to put one of those aluminum tabs on the front of it, because it seems a little back heavy and I can't get it to go forward to save my life, and I hope a little dip in the front can make that happen.


If you have dogs or cats in the house, these are a must have!!!!

dang you paid 30? i paid under 20 for mine down here, they were on the clearance isle a few months ago. i totally agree though, the money was certainly well spent, i fly mine all the time. i ended up putting all the little metal things on the front plus a little duct tape as well and it is very well balanced now.

it wasn't too bad to learn to control it well; after a few days i could hover around my little room great, and even control forward and backward movement. to go forward, you basically have to employ a series of gentle quick right then left, then right again and so on movements

they seem to be completely indestructable though, i haven't had any damage to mine since i got it

I love mine. Best $20 I have spent. I taped a BB to the nose of mine. Gave it a little more forward movement.

the havocs are a blast. i used some extra weight on the nose, made it much better. the planes they have are pretty cool too, i cant beleive how many wrecks these things take and get right back in the air.
30 bucks here too.

I watched a guy at an indoor air show pop the lipo in one back in Jan...it didnt realy explode as much as melt...I picked a new one up the other day that has a hard plastic body, resembles the old bell helicopters from MASH.

Yeah, I thought about the Lipo issue (BOOM), so I trimmed the point on the pin and added a drop of CA.

But, if it were to slam from an extremely high height, I guess it could still effect the battery.

Now that I have "mastered" this one, I'm looking to move up to a slightly more sophisticated heli.

It is definitely a stepping stone heli. I went out shortly after and got the Axe EZ. Now I am eyeballing the Axe CP2 and possibly the T-Rex.....

after mines had died out I picked this new version over at fry's electronics for $23. Its as good as the havoc. Cheapest way of getting some air time. I used paper clip to get mine to go forward
