Hey guys, thought I'd introduce myself. Been into scale crawlers for a few years now, started with a DF-01:

Then a CC-01 Pajero: (build thread http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/tamiya-xc-cc01/222196-new-jero-owner-my-current-crawler.html if you're interested)

And finally today I got a Honcho:

Done one mod so far, just added some lights to the front bumper:

Anyway, I'm guessing I'll have heaps of questions for you along the way!

Cheers!

Looks cool man. Like that pajero also.

Only problem I see with the CC and the SCX - cant drive them both at the same time! :)

Love the CC - great mod on the honcho lights!

Thanks for the comments guys. Did a few mods, removed the rubber bump stops in the suspension and lifted the front bumper. Just used a piece of aluminium, doesn't look the best, but it'll do the job for now.

I think it looks a million times better in line with the body

You made the plate your self!? More details please! I like the accessories I think I have the same pack just haven't painted them yet.

I had the number plate printed out yearsa go and found it recently so decided to use it. I made it off a website. Then I just stuck it to some aluminium, drilled some holes in it and used some copper wire to hang it.

This is the website... ACME License Maker
As I recall, they printed too large, some you may need to scale them down before printing.

And the scale accessories I got were green when I got them. Didn't like the colour so I painted them red!

The Honcho is a ton of fun. it is very capable in stok form, with a few tweeks her and there! "thumbsup"
