I have a TRX-6 where I swapped out to a hobbywing axe motor/esc.
I did what everyone else did with the traxxas light kit, run it directly from battery power.
Here's the thing, it works.. BUT after running for a few minutes, you start smelling this electronic burning smell from the traxxas light controller. Like quite strong. I opened up the controller and didn't see anything burnt.
Do you guys have any idea what could be causing it to do that if it's wired exactly the same way as others w/o problem?
