anyone here bowfish?

Me and my business partner bowfish. I'm getting my 15ft Johnboat set up now . I'll get some Picts tomorrow of the boat. I'm still using a PSE that my brother set up for me years ago, works great for me"thumbsup" the Gar around here are fun to shoot. I added Gator to my hunting and fishing lic this year, we have them all over the Savannah River here. I'm hopping to get one this year! I know BD will get some in Florida for sure!!:ror: Gator that is!

Never been bowfishing, unless you count walking around with my dad when I was 6. He used a PSE that I currently have.

@ 2500hd Where do you go? Me and my cousins were thinking about Wappapello Lake sometime this summer.

Come down to Florida. I have a 6-7 footer in the back yard or a 7-8 footer the the woods behind the house.

Road trip!:ror: do you buy tags for the there or is it like here and you buy a tag and have to wait and see it you get drawn, like a lotto?
 
Ive never bow fished before in my life but one of my brothers buddies is into it big time. Were supposed to go out Monday night. We go carp fishing with ultra light/ trout gear and its a lot of fun. I guess this guy has a 18' jon boat with a bunch of the offroad LED light bars on the front.

We fish the California Delta. Its LOADED with carp....Biggest Ive caught is about 23lbs on dough bait. those SOBS fight!!!
 
BD, what way are you coming down to Fl? Will you be passing through upstate Ga at all? I'll buy you and the family dinner on your way down or on the way back up;-)
 
well all the carp in lake havasu have been eradicated last year they all got herpies (carpies) and croaked not a single carp in sight now so not much to bow fish out here.
