Civilian flatfenders i.e. the CJ2A and CJ3A have tailgate openings. I see a tailgate opening.
The windshield on this one is not very accurate the botttom looks like a 3a/m38 with three rectangular stamped steel bumps. The center bump opens on a CJ3a but was blocked closed on an M38 with metal straps. The glass is split like a cj2A/GPW or an MB.
This grill looks like a m38 with the blacklout lights MBs and GPWs had smaller headlights.
If your jeep has a glove box door its a true bastard. Only military flatfenders had glove boxes, and only civilian jeeps had tailgate openings. My Aqualu aluminum tub on my CJ3a has the same problem, a glove box and a tailgate opening.
this is way off
:
its an M170 which is the military version of a CJ-6 which is a long version of a CJ5. The military CJ5 equivalent is an M38A1
I have great quantities of generally useless Jeep knowledge!
