anyone know whats up with hpi?

they have been failing hard in 2015 . no parts support and nothing in stock when they said it would be . I passed on the new sport 3 because they never release the parts till waaaaay to late and no upgrades are out there like they claimed . and it is impossible to get a wr8 body{[clear} anywhere .

The reason for no WR8 clear body is because of the Ken Block license. What I think is garbage is they came out with the new WR8 and body and it's not available in the US. At least not yet.

"HPI Racing- Ya know, HPI still has a great reputation, but they had a tough 2015. HPI America seems to be nearly dead, with HPI Europe seemingly running the show now days. They had a number of new releases, but all of them were really late to arrive, and their Octane gas truck, which was supposed to be their savior, was a huge flop. They could certainly turn it around, a half dozen great new vehicles, that make it to the market in a timely fashion, could do it, so I can’t wait to see how they handle 2016. Next year surely has to be make-it-or-break-it for them, here’s to them kicking ass in ’16."

I've been collecting their older platforms. I have two Bullets, two RS4s, and an MT2. (all nitro, actually; it wasn't really planned that way, it just sort of happened.) More parts support and the issues are already sorted out. They're new to me because I've never owned them before, so I don't really care if they're not new to the rest of the world.

Unlikely. Hobbico won't want HPI's products to compete with Axial's products, now that they own both brands. You'd be better-off getting a Twin Hammers and figuring out how to put an SCT body on it.

You could get an RS4, lift the suspension, and put any body on it that you want. You could also perform an electric conversion if you don't want to run nitro.
