Anyone order from HobbyPartz.com ? How was your service?

Placed an order on 3/18/12 and then got a fast email saying what I ordered was on sold out, went back to the site and the item said sold out, OK no problem as it happens...... send a email back asking if a different part within $2 difference was ready to ship instead and damn NO email back at all. 3/23/12 another email, hey did you get my email? Nothing...... WTF?

Today, went on there site and WOW the part is showing available, sent another email.....wonder whats next at this point.

Anyone else tried them, maybe my order was blown off the desk by the office fan?:cry:
 
Contact them via the chat portion, there should be a link for it on the original order email that you got. I have never had a problem with them.
 
Most of my batteries come from them, it is hard to beat the pricing.

Shipping has always been fast for me too.

I would try a different means of contact than e-mail.
 
Just ordered a charger from them on Monday. Got the tracking info on Tuesday. Its on its way via UPS from Cali. The prices seemed good and I got "free" S&H. So far so good.
 
I've ordered from them 2 or 3 times, and each time was a good experience and I got my stuff in about a week.
 
I've ordered from them several times and they have been great.
Fast shipping, great email communication, and good packaging. No issues at all.
 
I have made a dozen or more orders with them. I'm always supprized when it takes half the time to receive my parts. Their 2s hard case batts rock.

Ordered on saturday, received on thursday (last week). Item was stocked, no complaints from my side.

I did find tons of complaints on the web about them, while it still can be true (especially with ignoring emails if something out of the ordinary comes up) most people will rather sit down and rant about being wronged than write a praise. I learnt to check about a vendors reputation beforehand but kept in mind that I mostly find the bad experiences (than it goes to counting how many bads vendor A got vs. vendor B and if the difficulties experienced would apply to my order as well ;-)

Ive had good experiance in general.. First order i made was like yours> came back out of stock.. It took about a week to get another part ordered and shipped etc.. They get alot of email etc. So i understand.. Its been good as it gets for me.. 7 days to my door normally..
 
ive bought 4 lipo batteries and a thunder ac6 charger from them and have no complaints. there shipping isnt as fast as rpp but they have good prices. i would try calling them instead of email
 
The whole conglomerate (HobbyPartz, XHeli, Raidentech, NitroPlanes, NitroRCX) is grossly understaffed. If the order goes well, great. Otherwise, contacting somebody and getting an answer is a PITA and sometimes a long drawn out affair. I've been somewhat lucky, being in Canada, whereas most of my orders have come without issue. Anytime I've had an issue I check in with the various customer service forums.

ordered from them a few times, shipping was quick and prices were ok. I only had 1 issue with them and they took care of it fairly quickly.
 
My first order went great.y second order seems to be an issue though. Been 4 days and no updates or out of stock notices. Going on live chat when I go to lunch to see wth.
 
Other than the website being hugely slow and sometimes locking up windows internet explorer for a few seconds. Ive had good luck.
