Anyone order from HobbyPartz.com ? How was your service?

Hobbypartz allows a poor sap like me to be able to run high quality lipo's. I second that thier hardcase packs rock. I've ordered lots from them and never had an issue.
 
I have placed several orders with them chargers batteries led and no telling what else and I have never had any issue. I usually have what I ordered within a week but I have never ordered anything out of stock.
 
I ordered from them last month. I bought a Thunder AC6, an EXI tool kit, and a lipo charging bag. My purchases arrived on time. I will definitely order from them again.

Well, good for you Charlie. Not everyone is "happy" with some of the blue star vendors and I'm sure this will likely get me warned...or flat out tossed altogether. How can anyone be comfortable with a vendor that takes orders, but doesn't reply to PM's or comments on the forum? Basically, shut the door and the hell with present or potential buyers. There have been two within the last two months. Yes, blue star vendors.

OK, I can see one getting tired of servicing the masses, but for gawd's sake, put up a reply to state that you're ending all business dealings with RCC and take care of existing orders.

Very shabby business practice and doesn't promote trust as far as I see it.

My comment was more along the line of, "How are you selling as a vendor WITHOUT a blue star"?

I totally understand the issues with some "approved" vendors here. I am not sticking up for them.
Yes, I buy from blue star vendors.
I also buy from Tower Hobbies, Servocity, my LHS, etc.

Now I see a new member "gensaceandy" that appears to be pushing Gens Ace batteries...... may be another end run on the forum rules.:roll:
 
I've ordered a ton from them without ever having an issue. I've probably placed 15 orders+ in the last 6 months. Just ordered 3 more batteries yesterday.
 
I ordered from the twice. First time, ordered some 2s batts, went great. Second time ordered done 3s batts. Got them and they were longer than listed and wouldn't work. Emailed them to exchange, got a email back immediately saying not a problem. Then it took over a month, after I shipped the old ones back, to get the new batts. Lost my business after that.

OK so an update:

I never heard anything back on the last email so we called and found out that the order was on BO due to the items I purchase was not in stock. OK not a big deal as I did get the first email stating they where out of stock after the order went through, but I asked to switch to another item and that was when I had no email or communication on my order and what was an option. Once we called they said that due to the time frame the card was charged back and I would have to re-order. I never checked my card because I was not expecting a charge back so really they where in the clear as no product shipped and no product was charged. Just sucked that the communication was alittle better but I totally get it as I see the same issues myself at work and it's not as easy as it seems. I just thought after some point they would have gotten back to me as it was 4 or so weeks from my first email. I ordered again from them and the order went smooth, the items where not 100% what I thought I was getting because again it was my second choice so I had not researched it enough, nothing wrong with the items I just not sure if they will fit so now I may need to find out how they do on exchanges :lmao:

In the end I also seen alot of bad press when I looked them up but you always find bad press easier than the good stuff and reason I started this thread, it seems to me they are doing a good job keeping customers happy, I was just one that slipped. No big deal now knowing I was not out money and others are happy with there service.

Well i guess it was my turn:roll:, i have placed several orders previously from them without a glitch and really fast shipping, but two weeks ago i went and ordered 7 more batteries from them and a couple of receivers which showed in stock at the moment of the order:roll:, i get an e-mail 2 days later telling me two of the packs i ordered were out of stock:evil:, and if i wanted a refund or wait two -three weeks for them to restock:shock:, i inmediately answer to send the next pack up from the ones i ordered as i didn't want to wait, two days go by and no response, to make things brief, i sent them another 4 e-mails and never got a response :evil:, so here i am sitting two weeks later with order pending, funds on the c.c. in limbo until they send my junk:roll:, i know you get what you pay for in terms of c.s. but i needed to rant.
 
My first order.
The pic of the batteries that I ordered was what I wanted. What I got was totally different. It was a 2s Blue lipo hard case.
My next couple of orders were fine.
Gens Ace and Sky lipo are great.

Whats the number for HobbyPartz?

I ordered GENS ACE 5000mAh 40C 7.4V Hardcase Lipo Battery and received a FlySky GT3b and a brushless speed controller. I dont need these parts. I opened a online case with them but im not sure how fast they respond.
 
Just received an order of 2 NIMH receiver packs from them last week. Ordered 2 "offset brick" 5 cell hump packs, got 2 5 cell flat packs instead. Got a hold of them through their online chat and they told me to ship them back and they would correct the order and reimburse me for shipping. Have a single Gens Ace 5300mah 2s Lipo, a charger, and power supply from them as well. No issues with that order. All have been shipped promptly.

EDIT:

Just got a few emails, one from Paypal, two from them. They refunded me the cost of the batteries, no shipping included. Not a part of the original deal. Talking to them now, they've refunded the shipping and told me I'll have to reorder them, and they'll waive the shipping charge... Don't know why this is so difficult for them to figure out. On the plus side, their live chat is fairly reliable and actually works.

I have ordered from them. Product & shipping is great but their knowledge base is nonexistent. Bought an I-mars charger and on their recommendation a power supply to go with (web site has no specs on the power supply). I would not have ordered it not knowing its specs if they had not said this is the one. Get it in the mail & it's a 1amp. Call them and they asked "so that won't work?" to return it & exchange for something else I need to ship back to them (on my dime) wait appox. 10 days for them to process then ship out my replacement.
 
Their c.s. really needs an overhaul, but that´s the "you get what you pay for" part of the deal:roll:, also how can a company sell stuff that is not in stock :roll:, this shouldn´t happen at this time and age.
