Anyone order from HobbyPartz.com ? How was your service?

Where do you guys find the Live chat for Hobbypartz? As stated, I ordered batteries but was sent a radio, speed controller and a servo. They sent me a RMA number but I guess I have to spend money shipping this back to them.

On another note, I am from Canada and it looks like there is a change in USPS policy wth sending lipo batteries cross border. Why didnt the hobbypartz website show this? I need some assistance, maybe I should open a paypal case. What do you guys suggest?

EDIT: Called them and waited 30 minutes before I got someone on the other line. They advised me to get a shipping quote and send email to them. They also confirmed they will not ship to Canada so I am doing all this legwork for nothing. FML!

I would file a paypal complaint and have a little help forcing their hand in making things right. If they aren't going to ship you new batteries, then they need to issue you a full refund as well as pay for shipping back to them. Of course I wouldn't expect the full refund until they receive what you send, but they should be able to provide you with a prepaid shipping label (At least in the US and reputable company can).
 
So i just roled the dice again, they had a 20% discount on 5000mah 2s lipo hard to pass up,along with some more receivers and another gt3b, if they are in stock is going to be funny that this order gets to me faster and the older one hasn't even shipped yet.....not:roll:, i really hope they have them in stock.....

Open it in a new window. I've had pretty good luck with getting in contact with them through this, even if they screwed everything up still. Also, they charged me the shipping on the new batteries (which I got). Going to get a hold of them tomorrow and ask them whats up- that or maybe Paypal is just being screwy.

11 bucks to notify ups of a change in one digit on the zip code, my fault, but they have the rest of the address plus the phone number to check, anyways this was after the first order from a month ago was cancelled today in the morning, after having my bank funds on hold for that one order placed on june 8th, i had to place the same order earlier today, i hope they have the stuff i ordered this time:roll:

And btw this is the last time i will order from them.
