LOL!! hopefully its just your area:mrgreen:

For how much we pay for cell service each month we should have sat phones that never drop calls.

3 of my friends have already traded theres in after we took a little trip last week and we where in san diego with great service and they were still dropping calls and I was cruising down the freeway (not driving) using my nokia e71x as a modem for laptop, texting and taking phone calls at the same time I was surfing the internet:mrgreen:

Liking mine. No problems to date and no dropped calls. Battery gets sucked down faster than my blackjack, but it's also performing more apps. I just turned off all the things I don't need on at the time, i.e. location, wifi, etc. Only turn them on when needed.

Switched from a pc to a mac-pro about 6/7 months ago. Of course the phone sync's right up. Won't go back to pc's.

I've had no dropped calls, but I'm on the 3G still.

Metro Detroit, West Michigan, Chicago, Omaha, Smithton PA...all good areas. It's a multi-app machine, not just a phone. Can't be best at everything.

Seems to be alot of haters though.

my battery was horrible the first 2 - 3 days but then after it learned the cycle its great i just settled in here at 12:30 am and i still have 55% battery. I have no idea how that happened but every day it gets better.

sorry for the double post.

just got mine yesterday and used it most of the day as a ipod and still had half a battery at the end of the day. i love mine and havent had a droped call yet. lol im used to haveing low battery life since i had a smart phone before that would die after 4 hours of useing it and maybe 2 days if i didnt use it at all.

Battery life tip, let the 20% warning hit before charging. Seems to give you the best call/use time after letting it fully hit the 20% warning then a full charge.

You wouldn't think so since its Lipo (no memory) but it's shown to work for me.
