I have plans to being there with my little 12 Ibs of F-350. Its snow proof. I'm sure I'll be carrying my three oldest boys for 2.2. Two of us will most likely do 1.9 also. I think they are all excited about the mud.

My ttc truck is in the mail...lol...will do a few things to it before the event, but nothing crazy...short on time. I'm looking forward to the craziness !!

DCW stepped up with some SWeet wheels for the winner of each class!

"thumbsup"

And they match too! How about that!

My dad gum winch motor burned up today. I sure hope I can get it fixed. If not, what's the chances we will really need it? Slim pickins or up the creek?

I suppose I should get to work on it.

With the steep winching penalty for this event, I would say it just depends on the course and how everyone else is doing on the course. If you have to take the 5 minute winch penalty to finish a course, then it's worth having a winch.

I am not sure if "hand" winching/tow strap is an option for this event.

That's what I was thinking. I suppose I'll rob the one off of my 1.9 and wait for my new motor. Jyi with TZI is getting a couple ready to ship, but from Aussie to here will be more than a week. I've already tried a normal servo motor too. I think I'll hit the wanted section.

im doing away with the winch penalty...

its a time penalty in itself..

NO hog...
NO fog..

You must right your vehicle yourself with(winch)or under its own power.

No tow ropes.

Which means..
if you rollover and you have no winch and you cant right yourself..
Thats as far as you made it. Judges mark the distance and time.
Next driver..

We have alot of drivers and 2 classes to go thru in 7-8hrs.
Time is a factor..
We will probably be handing out awards in the dark as it is.

So we need everyone to be on deck/in line ready to go as soon as the driver before you completes course.

We have lots of sponsors for this event..
The class winners will be loaded with goods!

I'm stealing a winch from my 1.9. I'm sure I'll end up with my wheels in the air sometime during the day. 1.9s will have to wait another day.

I ran the Honcho thru the Tank trap and obstacle course...

Stay smooth and watch your lines...you'll make it.
If not, your gonna end up on your side or lid and runout of time.

Ran the obstacle course with a time of 5min 58 sec..with 2 hang ups on course.
Stay smooth,steady pace..

Calling for rain most of next week as of now..
so bring yer boots..its gonna be muddy!!

63 and sunny day of event"thumbsup"

Can't wait, finished up our waterproofing and waiting for the weekend !! Just tryingn to figure out what tires to run on the truck and Ian's twin hammers...

After looking at the map of everything, I'm thinking of packing a wagon to tote some trucks around from point A to B to C and all the way through G.

We can't wait to make the trek down from NWA for this. We are all waterproofed too and ready to rip it. Definitely looking forward to meeting more people and learning more about this type of comp.

Probably not a bad idea, bringing a tote around cart...

Its a bit of walking for sure..

We will have 2 courses open at the same time all day..
and work thru both classes.

Im hoping to be done with the 1.9's by lunch..
break for lunch
and 2.2's till its over..
then awards.
