Aug 16 9:00 am start of Scale series

How about some pics of the rigs that are going to be there. I dont want to get my ass handed to me too bad. I am going to try and make it with the avalanche.

Nate

+1 to what cato said.

Nate don't worry about what you have, come out have a good time. We really just try to have fun. Once you see how other have there rigs set up you'll see what you may or may not need to do to it for the next one. You be suprised at how well on guy does at one event, but then the next one, because of the terrian may not do so well.
My main goal for this series is to have fun. So come out meet everyone and don't take the heckling too seriously!

1.9 scale comp

I may come down. I also do not have my 1.9 completely ready with a lexan body *cry. I would enjoy checking it out if i can make it down there. Good job getting it set up."thumbsup"

i wont be running today - lookin at stoppin up after 9 with my boy (since its like 4 miles from my house) - im still knee deep in home remodel stuff and didnt get a chance to even touch my rigs.. parts didnt show up either. So needless to say i will be hitting the home remodel "pause" button and comin up to hang out for a bit.

You know there are people who you can pay to do that home remodel stuff for you right? Doing that would really free up a lot of time for more important things like building scalers"thumbsup"

I want to thank all that came out today!"thumbsup" I know that I had a great time and I'm already looking forward to the next one.

I'll post up a list of dates and location for the rest of the series here later this week.

I should have pictures posted later tonight, but the wife needs to use the computer for school, so it may not be untill tomorrow. I also need her help setting up the spread sheet for scoring so I may or may not have that up tonight as well.

Thanks again for coming out was a great day!

I also expect the next events to run a little smoother as this was the first time I have tried to get something started. So the next events should take a little less time!

Chris great pictures!!!

By 3 seconds and 2 points!:flipoff: It's gonna be a close one this year, maybe I'll let you win one or two:)
Great time today guys, it was nice to get out and give everyone crap and to see some of the amazing rigs you guys come up with."thumbsup" Can;t wait til the next one!

Scores
I did the scores a little different then what we have been used too.
What I did was give the winner of each course 100 pts. and deducted 5 pts. for each place after that. Since 2 of the events were time based I took off scale points from the first run.

1.9 scores

2.2 scores

I know I need to build another rig to hang with you all, but it was fun.

Nate

I can't wait to see what you come up with.
It was both gut wrenching and entertaining watching the Avalanche yard sale but it was great that you came out and gave it a try. "thumbsup"

Great pics guys and thanks for posting up scores Rogue. I hope more of you guys can make it for the next one. :)
