Axial Factory 6x6?

Just cos "lots of people" build something before is no reason to not release a version of it now.
RR10 was first Axial that I'm aware of to come with a pass through rear cover.
Never seen any SCX, 10 or 10ii come with pass through axles.
Yes you could build OG SCX10 housings into a pass through but it wasn't 100% straight forward & was complicated by the upper link mounts missing on the 2nd axle & upside down on the 3rd.
Certainly beyond the levels of some parts of the market, which is no reason to ignore that market if you've already invested in the parts engineering.

The CrossRC trucks are definitely that higher level of scale compared to any SCX based multi axle rig. (Don't get me started on Bruder or Tamiya cabs on 5.7" 2.2s )

I won’t tell you about the Bruder cab I’m putting on a 6x6 Clodbuster then. [emoji6]

Seeing all these new R/C release threads has got me thinkin...

I've temporarily cooled it on R/C purchases, need to finish building one more rig and then tweak my other two, and will likely eventually sell my nearly new AE 1/8th Nomad because I just don't get the need for speed that I thought I would.

Only then will I consider buying another, and by then all these new vehicles will have been out long enough to have loads of reviews, maybe even some new aftermarket support and I will then decide on what to get.

However, I have wanted a slightly larger than Tamiya-sized Moggie-styled lexan body for ages, and Knight customs fixed the front of the UMG to the point that I like it. However, I will likely try just the body on either the SSD or the Vanquish chassis.

SSD portals or TRX-4 portals, of course.

If they DO make a 6x6, I wonder if SSD or Vanquish would make frame extensions or actual full rails for their new chassis to fit?

(always planning ahead..."thumbsup")

Lol... That I don't have issue with, monster trucks are supposed to look monstrous & can live with odd proportions.

I've seen bruder cabs used on 6x6 & 8x8 with 2.2s & ar60 axles with the pretext of being scale trucks....odd looking is the politest thing I can say. Then when they make sure it has enough tray to sit an scx10 up there things get really whacked out of scale.

I personally think a 6x6 kit from axial would be awesome. I always thought about doing a 6x6 but it seemed like it was more of a pain than its worth but a kit would make me interested.

I don't need one but I'll get the Axail 6x6.
Been thinking about building one anyways.
This and the Pro-Line Dodge RamCharger.
And SSD chassis to up-grade my OG SCX10..
Then...
I'm done for the year...
??

A 6x6 could be a fun build, maybe for a tow pig. In a quick look for inspiration I came across this...

LEGO has set the bar high for for the rc 6x6 :ror:

Here was the inspiration for my planned 6x6.

It’s amazing. I also found crawling videos of it on YouTube.

i wish they would've reverse cut the second pinion gear on the middle diff. that way the rear diff isnt upside down and low pinion.
