Axial rr10

There's no time to wait for the kit! NO TIME!!! I'll take the RTR put my receiver in, beat the stock electronics to a pulp, then add a brushless system and proper servo! Not like the kit comes with the vanquish parts that I have a love/hate relationship with.

I was kinda on the fence about this one until I saw the product website. I believe I want one. I was leaning toward building a Twin Hammers. I may put that on hold to see how a kit RR10 looks. Do you think a kit would have all metal suspension links? With a 2 speed and a sensored brushless setup, this may be exactly what I'm looking for.

Now that we have an official release of info and pictures. I WILL have one, maybe two! "thumbsup"

I was going to get a 3rd wraith and built it for faster stuff, but this RR10 is exactly what I was wanting all along. Damn near perfect in my eyes.

After seeing more pics and motion video of it, I take back what I said about XR width axles. The proportions look spot on with Wraith axles. Sweet. :ror:

after watching the video I worry about torque twist.

I may still get one and try to tune it out as best as possible, but i want the crawling side for class 3 purposes.
so its this or my 4th wraith build.
What I saw of tourqe twist was to the driver side, isn't it usually on the passenger side?

This is awesome."thumbsup"

This rig is amazing. I love everything about it. My yeti is pretty much bomb proof imo and I'm currently building a bombproof wraith. However, the wraith will probably get its axles robbed and the rest of the wraith put on the back burner. When I do get back to the wraith it looks like the rr10 skid will bolt up to the wraith along with a trans that can handle brushless power. I'm really looking forward to this rr10 trans. I've beat the snot out of my yeti with a pro 4 hd and the trans has taken every bit of it and asked for more. I don't know if I can hold out for a kit. Based on previous releases it looks like a kit could take up to 3-6 months to release after the RTR. However, I don't mind having RTR take offs for other projects. Like another member said, the kit won't come with VP upgrades anyway. "thumbsup"

I have to be honest with myself, I don't think I will be able to wait for the kit either.

Hopefully the fact that the motor is higher in the chassis won't affect the CoG too much compared to a Wraith set up for crawling.
