Axial rr10

Well it seems as though my plans for x-mas time must be modified...was gonna get an scx10 and build a crawler for my daughter...and go nuts with my wraith, but the wraith will likely become the crawler now...this thing looks bad ass!

That's exactly what will be doing now. Almost ordered trailing arms for my wraith!

A rig with trailing arms will torque twist more because the shocks are narrower on the trailing arm side and the chassis side and where they are positioned also makes the springs softer so in my opinion a rear sway bar is a must on this rig. The next thing I would upgrade is the driveshafts, ring and pinions, universals, servo and a sensored 13.5 on 3s then of corse an EmeryworX bomber cage and then go from there.

Because they are awful?

Glue on tires and rims are an improvement? I've never had a problem with Axial's bead locks kit or rtr. Just make sure beads and rims are clean before mounting. I also prefer not to ruin a set of tires with glue.

I have a yeti from the day they were released and an extra set of wheels from another guys who upgraded to metal. 10yrs exp in the hobby. Those beadlocks aren't bad. Period. Abuse anything enough it'll bust. Don't expect plastic to be idiot proof.

scared to see how many idiots cut up this chassis

I'm going to cut something off just for fun. :lmao:

I bet the yeti raptor body fits... had to lose some length for the wraith "thumbsup"

This is awesome."thumbsup"

Mmmm, easy pass through conversion for multi axle rigs! I'll wait to see one of these in person before passing any judgement. I like the looks of it. I just have to ask, if Axial went through the expense to make tooling for new axle housings, why didn't the make a centered rear axle? Not hating, just asking a realistic question.

The axle housings are still ar60, like the wraith or yeti rear. The diff cover and truss have been changed.

Because then they would need to release a 6x6.

Yup, I already need to apologize for jumping the gun. I just scrolled through the manual and saw that they are still ar60 housings. I'd still like a centered rear axle housing! "thumbsup"

What's the eye to eye on those shocks? I see this shaft and body lengths, but no eye to eye.

Wife just picked up an Apple Watch, sounds like a good reason for me to get the rr10 ordered :flipoff:

I may be wrong but I remember reading 103mm or same as stock wraith. The spring lengths being used are 14x70mm. Same as Wraith length as well and coincidentally fit Traxxas XXL big bores perfectly FYI. This has me psyched as I've decided this is my new go to shock for everything I build.
