Axial XR10 Kit

Schaaaaweeet! Although personaly I think if I venture away from my dx3r at all, I'm just gonna bite the bullet and do dx6i and dual esc's. The thoughts already crossed my mind.

My plan is to run off my 3R with a single esc until the cutting break addon becomes available, and then make the switch to a 6i with dual esc's

waoh bob.....lol its ok......i catch flack from those guys too...fire back lol....just come play with the scalers till you get your lcc stompin lnc eating monster that craps vcc's lol.....i am sure as hell not selling my other rigs to get the xr-10......just adding another rig to the list lol......i lub my ax....

Yah I'll probably take that route as well. I've just always been partial to Pistol radios so have avoided it. If the cutting break works as well as 1:1's I'll man up and make the change.

My mom said I'm perfect. Are you saying she lied?

Hate to tell you this, but thats not the ONLY thing your mom lied about....:lmao::lmao:

LOL i love to fire back.

its all in fun man. The group we crawl with is what makes it so enjoyable.

I guess I will just have to cash out a vacation week in August when these come out.

Spend this weekends bonus on bettas and a shot gun.

I have A DX3r and a Dx7.

I still dont know how im going to set it up:mrgreen:

You're wrong.

Here's what you'll have:

Channel 1 - Throttle
Channel 2 - Steering
Channel 3 - Dig (front & rear via something like a PunkRC dig unit)
Channel 4 - Cutting brake. This can function with a 3 position switch. Switch right = right wheel disengaged from dif & locked, Center = locked, switch left = left wheel disengaged from dif & locked.

This sounds like the perfect application to use my 2.4GHz TQ5 radio on! I can have my LCC, Summit, and now this XR10 running from one TX. My prototype should be done pretty soon:

Now there be some beefy universals!

Liking it more and more the more pictures are posted "thumbsup"

awesome stuff. Thanks Bender."thumbsup"

No problem. "thumbsup"

Hey Bender!! Have you personally driven a running, production version XR-10??I wanna know how this thing performs out of the box..

I don't have a full production kit. I have been testing the prototype axles for a few weeks now. As the production parts come in the door, I test fit them and make notes documenting possible issues. We then collectively discuss possible fixes/modifications. We are doing everything in our power to bring our customers the best product we can. But, we all know Rome wasn't built in a day either. :ror:

Well,how do the axles work??:ror:

so what's the hex to hex width of these axles compared to the AX-10 axles??? if they are the same, any chance of an AX-10 steering conversion with those C's, knuckles and universals?

Hey Bender or Axial,

Has anything been done with the leaky o-rings of the comp shocks?

Many of us who have used them have experienced a leaking problem.

We all know the cartridge outer o-ring is not correct size, but others are also having issues with the shaft o-rings. I personally built sets for my wifes and my own rig, was extremely careful not to gouge o-rings, built them exactly as described in axials blog, and they all leak a bit. Teflon tape helped the outer o-ring leak, but what about the shaft o-rings? Some of them just weep oil constantly if running light weight (30-40wt), so I currently have them mounted upside down to keep the oil in.
I really like the design of the shocks and have recommended them to others. Just want a shock that holds oil like it is supposed to.

I know this has been discussed over and over here on the forum, but this is the perfect opportunity for all of us Loyal Axial fans to have our problem heard and addressed.

That being said, I personally am very excited about the XR10 and am patiently waiting to build one.

Please listen to your customers Axial.....................
