AXIALFEST - JUNE 22-24th, 2012 - Cisco Grove, California

It's cool if Axial wants to have an Axial only event but to drop the AWCC means it's harder for Berg, Bully or Losi drivers to get in the Nationals. It seems the other areas will not have this issue.
I'll go either way as it's literally in my backyard, I just will be without my comp crawler..That or I build my XR back up. Honestly I just dont like my XR and probably wouldn't do that for one event.

Mindy, if you want to put something together in the Cisco area I'm happy to help you.

Jeep puts on a few events that are jeep only. Corvette has track days for just corvettes. Private events put on by companies for their product turn out to be some great events. I like they are doing this and look forward to it. If Axial is indeed moving from the AWCC to their own Axialfest, why arent the other manufacturers stepping up to fill the void? Maybe this is a good thing. Remember it's all still speculation on what's really going to go on.

there is still the Nor Cal and So Cal qualifiers for Nationals. All USRCCA clubs in good standing can send their top drivers from their qualifing series to the Nor Cal and So Cal finals event to earn a spot at nationals. Randy qualified in Nor Cal and NV to go to the qualifier/finals for a spot at nationals. and don't foreget you can always go to Nationals and compete at the last chance qualifier for a spot.

I'm not saying I'm missing out on a nationals spot. I have a XR10, so I can still go. I just wanted to know about WCC. I like the big comps, it helps me learn more and drive better.
That's it. That's all I was getting across on my part.
The mods can move these post.

I know there was some confusion at this years awcc g6. Some guys were told even though they had all axial running gear but not a scx frame it wasn't allowed so changed the frame where others who didn't have a scx frames just didn't go. With the name axialfest I'm guessing all axial only

I really couldn't imagine these guys turning people away, I would think you would be able to participate, just not be eligible for the axial contingency like last year....I could be wrong though.

I have to agree with rig on this one. I feel this should be open to everyone even if they run something other than an axial. I love axial and have all axial rigs but some of my friends that run other brands can't compete. Why don't you have an axial only class and maybe an open class for everyone else.

Happy new year"thumbsup"

So is there going to be a West Coast Championship then Champ?

O stop, of course you can have after market stuff just has to be axiel bast.

Just trying to figure out what the deal is here. I've got a good friend who lives in Grass Valley and I'd love to make it out there to visit him and hit up this event.

Seriously Hoppa, you have an issue. Its simple..... Axial as a Company is trying to throw an event for THIER CUSTOMERS. Why is this so irritating to you. Is it because you dont have an Axial based rig or what? If you want to attend go buy an Axial rig, end of story.

Someone has already said it before would you get upset if you couldnt bring your KIA to a Corvette car show. Come on man, its really simple and you are acting like a 5 year old. Go fight for rights and equality somewhere else cause this is definately not discrimination. :flipoff:

The only problem I have with this event......... its to damn far away. I most likely wont be able to attend

I drive and XR and live an hour away but if its axial based rigs only, I won't be wasting my time driving up there.

Has anybody "offically" heard that this is replacing the AWCC ?

I couldn't find it if there has been one.

If not then everyone needs to go play with their toys and wait for an "offical" anouncement.

Exactly Dwayne! Nobody has said this is replacing the WCC, people just speculate and spew crap they know nothing about.

It's funny how people think they can do a better job at putting on an event when their history of organizing comps says different."thumbsup"
