Hey all: It's been quite some time since I have been back on these forums. I joined back in 2007 under the name of SeanD.

Just a few days ago, I decided to drag out the old WK after nearly a decade of neglect. I seems to have lost my battery pack but luckily I had six new (but old) cells kicking around so I made up a new pack. Charged it and up and away she went!

On the first run, I stripped out the front servo gears and somehow the batteries short circuited in the old modded TQ3 TX and fried itself! Luckily it did not burn down my car as the TX was sitting on the floor all afternoon while it shouldered away!

I had a new (old) servo and replaced that. Then I ordered a FS-GT5 TX which is sitting in the mailroom right now waiting to be picked up "thumbsup"

I bought my WK when they only came in the 2WD flavor. As it sits now, all that is left from the original machine is the tranny. Among other things it has a custom Widow chassis (as designed by forum member Offroader5), droop suspension, 4WS, custom servo and battery mounts, aluminum c-hubs and steering knuckles, Mayhem rims, Panther tires etc etc.

I can only hope these old Photobucket links still work!

Cheers,

Sean
