Badazz Hilux!!

you mean 2 ton or 5 ton Rockwells. and as for tractor axles they would definetly hold up to the power they would have to come out of a bigger 4x4 tractor though. the good thing about them is you get crazy amounts of steering

a set of LULL/SKY TRACK axles would be cool esp. since they are alredy setup for 4WS...........not sure of the bolt pattern on the wheels but the look like the 8-6.5 would be close!!!!!
downside would be no pinion brake like on a 2 1/2 ton and 5 ton

there is a guy around here that put a set of 5 tons on a YJ cauz it was said the it wouldn't work.....Thats the story around the campfire around here!!....I'll try to get pics IF I can, gotta see if its true!!

I read somewhere that the military half rates all there stuff.

So , the 5 tons are 10 ton.

Ill try to find the link if I can.

some tires measure out to be smaller then they are suposed to be and some times bigger.

my dad has 32inch super swampers and they measured out to 33inches.

so it deppends on what depth rims you use

YES THAT IS WHAT I HAVE GOIN ON... but not anymore cause their junk and i threw them away.

now get off my back about the whole fawkin thing:x

I still wanna see a pic! What size were the rims, how many lugnuts? What kinda air pressure did you run in them? Any pictures?

Remember when it said this? You sure switch the story up alot! Whats the next story?

BEWARE of FORDZILLA THE CROWD THRILLA.
1:1 ford f150, 6" lift, 37" boggers, 4.9 liter, dana 40 front, ford 9 inch rear, flat bed.

ok non believers. ill answer all questions rite here. i bouth it outa a junk yard.
1978 f250 frame and axles.
a 1980 f150 body.
i had a 300 straight 6 cylinder in it at the time.
now i got a 390.

So do you know what axles come under a '78?

I would like to see a dana 40 axle, and a 9 inch that hold up to a 390 with a 44 bogger LOL, I have heard of a dana 44 but never a 40 I have been builking trucks for over 15 years and compeating in rock crawling for over 7 I have three box Broncos and have never heard of a dana 40, why would a guy spend the money on eight lug 9 in axles when a dana 60 from a bone yard is about 100 bucks, and on top of that you said that this was a f 250 before didnt you? Yea thats right 78 f250 frame and axles. Witch means it would have had an dana 60 rear and a coil spung probably high pinion dana 44 in the front, Your stories dont make any sense man. and a 44 in bogger like the one that you have is exactly like the one my partner runs on his comp rig and they actually run 44.5 in tall and every on I have ever talked to including a Interco rep at the Indianapolis 4x4 Jamboree said it is the most true sized tire they have ever built. so think you might want to come out with the truth and jsut suck it up instead of getting flamed I mean I see that you have changed your headline or name for some other reason, why is that?

Lets put it this way. You are an idiot.

There is NO way in HELL that these tires are the "42"s.
