Re: Badger's SCX10 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with VP Currie Rock Axles

any chance you can tell me how wide the front and rear fender flares are?

like from the body out and overall width of the opening on the rears?
The front is ~22.20mm at the top front, ~24.20 at the top middle and ~25.20mm at the top back of the fender. The rear is ~19mm wide.

Well..................I'm Mike D and I get respect, your cash and your jewelry is what I expect. "thumbsup"

Re: Badger's SCX10 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with VP Currie Rock Axles

I've seen a couple people including you that run 2 of the Trepadors backwards at opposite corners. Has this been tested, or is it a "just because" sort of thing?

Nice pictures Badger. Would you mind if I added the two you had linked to the desktop background package I have up for downloading on my blog? I'm starting to really get into my SCX10. I am REALLY liking it with the Pit Bulls on it. They are soooo darn grippy. "thumbsup" Anyway, I'm putting those pics on my personal desktop regardless. They're pretty sweet. Do you have any others?

Re: Badger's SCX10 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with VP Currie Rock Axles

What stock parts are needed from the kit to build these awesome axles .
Example did you use the stock bearings or do the VP Currie Axles come with all that is needed ?
What did u end up running in the diffs?
What is your spur , pinion , centre gear and idles gear ratios ?
Absolutely awesome rig and I am going to be a copy cat to some extent except for the body as I want to go more truggy style .

Pretty sure the JK has the same wheelbase as the honcho, so they will be a smidge too long for a dingo.

Re: Badger's SCX10 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon with VP Currie Rock Axles

Has anyone been lucky enough to see in person or use these axles and the GCM SCX MetalHead axles to compare, pros and cons?

Badger, have you been lucky enough? I can't decide which ones to get....
Cheers
