Badland M3 Knockoffs

I could be wrong, but I don't believe that Proline makes or made the Badlands tire in M3 or M2, only in xtr compound. The xtr compound is there hardest compound they make. I've looked on there site and they don't offer it in anything but the xtr. I know that when racing 1/8 scale buggies I always wanted to get the badlands in M2/M3 because xtr compound worked very well at the track I raced at, but a little softer/stickier would always be better. I'm not saying that they didn't make them, just have never been able to find a set in M2/M3 in the last few years.

I have said wrong. It was M2 compound. Sorry guys.

They might have a few more sets at my LHS. I'll try to go by there and check.

All my Badlands are M3;-).

I was also under the impression that the Maxx Badlands and 1/8 Buggy Badlands were either XTR or M2 compound. If they are in fact M3 then I will definately just use the Prolines... The whole reason for looking at the Knockoffs were because the are supposedly M3's:?:

Well i got em done. They are 5 1/4 tall and narrow. The rubber feels very soft like a M3 compound as advertised. I had to sacrafice my M2K's for their sidewalls but I hope they perform. They are going on the rocks tomarrow for their first test. I set them up on RC4Wd Beadlocks temporarily to test and filled with memory foam.

Big C,

Those tires are sick looking. I hope they perform as good as they look. See ya on the 8th. :flipoff:

Tested today, The grip a little less than my Rock Claws but better than any other tire ive tried. I think with a little less foam for flexability these will be the ticket on my comp rig. The extra height is just what i needed. I plan to mout these on some HPI Super RS4 wheels to narrow my track width. So far I am very happy with em "thumbsup"

Are those narrowed/grafted Monster truck Badlands?
Or... the 1/8 buggy Badlands?

I wish the 4wd buggy Badlands were a pinch taller... like 5" or so.
Then they would be perfect donor tread.

These are 1/8 buggy tires with a piece grafted in to make them 5 1/4 tall. The tires are knockoff (non-proline) rubber in a softer than prolines compound M3 equivelent.

No Kidding

I have bought thoes tires befor on my old buggy the rims dont hold up to 8' high jumps about 15' long they crack the tires are glued verry good though

They don't hold up to well to trying to leaping my irrigation canal do they? It's 16' wide :!:
