Bananaclip’s 4door Trail Rig

Guys this build will be going up for sale soon. I just bought a new home and don’t have much time for our loved hobby. I will be adding a few other items as well. The build has been sitting on a cell block on the shelf since the last update. I have all the fender flares sanded and ready to paint. Other than that. This rig is spotless. The buyer will be thrilled. This girl is clean, straight, low, offers full articulation without any interference from both tires or suspension components.

I know I caught this thing early on but not sure how I missed it recently. Killer job. This turned out really clean, someone will be lucky to have this in their lineup

Congrats on the new home! Sorry to hear about the lack of time for the hobby! Will miss seeing these awesome builds!

This rig is a beauty and someone's gonna get a great looking rig!

I appreciate the kind words fellas. I will be posting this up in the near future. I’ve been really busy and want to gather all the bonus items I had intended for this build including a brand new untouched OG newbright body and interior for back up. I want this rig to go to a good home. Honestly I won’t sale it if I don’t know of your existence on or around our hobby. I’m old and can be this way if you want my stuff. So if your interested have some patience. I am giving you time to save up. [emoji41] The new owners happiness is guaranteed.

Update!!!!

The build was graciously purchased by our own GTSLOW. I can honestly sleep better tonight knowing she is headed to a loving home.

Congratulations GTSLOW!!! I am gathering up your bounty for shipment.

Fantastic build, loved watching it.

I feel you on the new house, it took two years before I finally got to a point I could hobby again regularly. Give it time and you will be building again...

Bummed I didn’t have the funds lined up to snag this beauty, sounds like it’s going to a good home though!

I agree with the term "wickedly understated". Beautiful build that I just now caught up to. The clean precise detailing really puts this over the top.

Congratulations to her new owner. And to Bananaclip- We bought our home in 2019 and I just in the past couple months have gotten to have some time and [a tiny bit] of money to get back into the hobby. Congratulations on the new home an I hope you'll be back.

That's great news! Congrats @GTSLOW!"thumbsup"

I would loved to own this beauty, but glad to see it found a good home and we'll have the chance to see it again!

Thanks everyone! I've been recently "relocated" to California and cannot wait to get this thing on the rocks here. Beyond stoked to finally have a scaled out Jeep.

I was bummed I couldn’t swing buying this rig when it first went up for sale, but most of it ended up on my bench after all.

Nice! Hoping to see more of this body and build in the future. I've always liked the look of the cage and how it fits in the body.

Same, I really like the tube work. The way BC had it setup at the end was super clean looking.

Well basically I picked this up as a chassis, body and links. I didn’t have much of a plan when it got here but I’ve been tinkering here and there and have made decent progress towards getting it running.

Happened to trade with my good buddy indybama for some ar45 straight axles, had some incision S8E 90mm shocks, incision isd10 driveshafts and a vfd twin I couldn’t seem to get rid of. So for now that’s what’s going in it.

Also acquired some bronze machetes from distinctive pd , and some Pitbull rockbeasts from Fricker08

So far I like where it’s going.

Probably more flex than necessary, but I believe it was set up on the short dravtechs, which have a fairly tall compressed height. The s8e’s have been good for me for the most part, but they are very compact.
