Base Level Quality - Element vs Axial

Topher...!

Yea, the VQ will be a fun build, and I'm stoked to get my 11 year old his first kit. He has a Senton 3s beast that he drives, but we went out the other day for a crawl and he really had a good eye for lines. I figure the GK will be a great first rig.

Just waiting on the Brood motor to arrive for the 410.

Thanks guys.

I will pick up the Gatekeeper kit for my son ( 11 ) and make that the first kit we build together. I think he will have a good time with this, and while it won't be the best crawler, I think the versatility will suit him well for a first trail truck / crawler. I like AE quality and I don't think we will need too much aftermarket support.

I decided to jump in a little more and got the Vanquish VS410 Pro kit. I'm about 1/5 of the way into it, and the quality is superb. Reminds me of my Tekno kits.

Congrats on getting the Gatekeeper! I'm sure your son will have a blast with it! My Element Enduro's have treated me well and are great rigs!

Great choice on the VP PRO! It's one of the greats! Love my PRO and Origin! Building them is one of the best parts! The quality of these rigs is outstanding!

Looking forward to seeing the both of them!"thumbsup"

Thanks B.!

Will get some photos up as the complete. Been tweaking my Wraith for this weekends revisit of Highline at Badrock Ridge here in Vegas. It is a long technical climb that has me stuck clearing two chunky and off-camber sections. Made some changes and I hope they help me clear this spot.

The climb is about 100 yards long and maybe 60' in elevation change. All sandstone. This is the spot that's kicking my butt

Thanks Smog,

Falling off either to the left of right is between a 6' and 10' drop to the rock below. High consequence for errors on this line, but it's quite a bit of fun.

Gonna hit it tomorrow morning for another go.
