I just ordered a chassis. I can't wait for the next batch to be finished  Thank you Bender.

Andrew

I forgot to ask this. I do not own a TLT. What do you reccomend I use for cross-braces?

Thanks,
Andrew

You could make your own, they measure 2.1". If not, try posting in the wanted forum. I'm sure there are tons of them floating around.

will a stampede tranny still work in your chassis if the screw holes facing the axels are cut off? james.m

The only 2 mounting points for the tranny in the SW2 are the stock Stampede suspension pivot points.

If you've cut them off, you can get a new housing through Tower Hobbies for cheap.

Hey C.M. you could P.M. Norwegian Legion.
He could probably help you out. ;-) (Sorry N.L. :-P)

I had a pede in mine that had the ears cut off so It can be done.I took a peice of L channel aluminum and drilled the holes in the aluminum for the chassy to mount then drilled holes in the bottom of the L channel for the tranny to screw to and it worked great.I will see if I can find pics of what I did but it's really simple if you look at it.

They are 6-32 x 3/4" long, with a couple flat washers.

i forgot to ask, what body mounts are you using?
and any updates as of yet on when the chassis will be done?
no rush I still need to get thicker shock oil and red springs. casue i got my msr4 shocks and put 35wt oil in them with the stock 2 hole pistons and its way to little dampaning, for my tastes and im to lazy right now to try the 1 hole ones lol. and the springs feel like they could hold up a 1:1 scale crawler lol.
i cant find red losi springs that are 2.75'' like the white spings i have all i found were these https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/seekpart.pl?src=ns&pn=LOS5152
2.5''. are those the ones your using bender?

Yes, those are the red springs I use. I have threaded shock bodies, so I tighten down the rear more then the fronts to make up the difference. I'm using the stock TLT body mounts, they bolt up to the SW2 chassis.

I shipped a the first few chassis' out on Friday morning, the rest will ship by Wednesday.
