Bending carbon frame rails?

C frames are normally narrower at the ends (~70mm) than at the skid (~78mm). Am I supposed to bend carbon rails too? If I use wider frame spacers, the shocks get too close to the rails, almost touching.

Yes just pinch them in as it also doubles as stiffening the chassis.

It's going to depend entirely on the CF chassis kit. Some kits keep the rails straight, while others "pinch" them at the front & rear. Beast thing to do is built the frame as the developer designed - if the rails are meant to be straight, keep them straight...don't "pinch" them.

Using a couple of mine as examples, the GameChanger chassis from The Crawl Space uses a "pinched" design, whereas the Ground Fox chassis from Artful Dodgers uses a "straight" design. Again, however the kit you're building is designed (straight or pinched), I'd recommend keeping it as the designer designed. Just a 'suggestion'.

It's a Gspeed V3. I did not find info at the manufacturer site about bending.

Gspeed chassis are typically used with 67-70mm chassis spacers and servo mounts, along with 78mm skids. There will be a little pinch

There's a how-to video with Gabe himself (Gspeed) which he talks about the pinching of the rails. Green light on the pinching.
I concur. Even looking at the photos, you can see (albeit, just barely) the slight pinching.
