Gentlemen,
I've been out of the crawler scene for years, my Clodzilla IV has been busy collecting dust for a long time in the closet. I've always kept an eye on the crawler scene but never as balls deep as I was at the turn of the century. For you guys that have been around for more than 10 years can imagine, things have come a LONG way in that time.
To establish the depth of my knowledge, I come from the days of duel Novak Super Roosters and strictly brushed motors. Lipo and brushless were still in the R&D phases for RC guys.
Fast forward to today...
I'm a bit older, a lot more money in my pockets, and still a reoccurring itch for crawlers. From doing a little bit of research on whats the coolest new thing, the Berg certainly didn't seem mainstream, but incredibly innovative, capable and lets face it, we don't want to be like everyone else. I don't really want an LCC just because EVERYONE has one. Same goes for the Axials.
I laid my eyes on the Nano Tracer and knew I wanted one. I'm sure I'm in a big boat when it comes to that, but I'm bias to the idea of spending money on a kit that's worth the money.
There's a problem though... I can not locate a US distributor, a used one for sale, etc.... Where are you stateside guys getting these kits from?
By the way, yes, I am 100% newbie again, so don't bust my balls too hard!
After all, I did do a search... :|
