Best Black Friday Deals!

^^this man knows and appreciates good sound^^

I got a big headphone thread if you haven't seen it. Maybe you have. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/chit-chat/264025-headphone-listeners.html

I have the Sennheiser HD 600s on my head right now.

I've always been really interested in the custom in ears, and figured these will be my entrance into the better sounding universals. Thinking something like the JH-13 or 16, if I want to go there...

The Sennheisers are good phones. I have a pair of AKG 701's in my studio that are pretty sweet. I've also had a set of Sony digitals, MDR 7509 I think, that I use for DJ'ing. I like them a lot, especially for DJ work since you can flip the earpieces over for single ear listening. They have very good reproduction though. I eventually would like to use the UE-11's for my all around, every use, in ear monitors, they'd work for everything and they're custom fit to your individual ear by an audiologist so they're perfect fit every time and stay in your ear regardless if I'm singing, talking or playing, and for DJ use they'd be the bomb because they block out the noise and if I want to hear a room mix, or talk to someone, I can just pop one out and let it hang. The sound is unbelievable. You would not be disappointed, ever since the first time I used them, I've not wanted anything else in my ears since!
I will check out your headphone thread for sure, I hadn't seen it before now. Thanks."thumbsup"

The thing I hate about the Black Friday sales is how Thanksgiving is given the "Bums Rush" out the door before it's even over. We were leaving work on Wednesday, and they were already setting up the Trees. By the time Christmas shows up, I'm so tired of hearing about it that I can't wait for it to be over. I think the stores should have Black Friday on the first Friday of December.

My favorite day of the year is January 2nd when everything goes back to normal.

Pure madness.

My wifes cousin works for a large electronics store that always has a massive Black Friday sale. People will start lining up early Thursday afternoon so that they can be first in the store Friday morning. He said its the scariest thing he's ever gone though. When they open the doors the day of the sale you can hear people running and yelling and screaming from the back of the store. Once they run out of something on the shelf, its his job to restock it, but the items never make it that far. Usually as soon as he turns down the isle with the box in his hands its taken from him, put on the floor, torn open, and the contents scooped out. That goes on until they are out of stock.

Our local Walmarts have been pushing Christmas for the past 3 weeks. Thanksgiving never had a chance.

Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving for a reason...most people have a long weekend, and its perfect for holiday shopping.

Black Friday is also the day when most retailers start making their profit for the year, hence the "black" in Black Friday.

So good luck getting that changed. :ror:

I think it's a bit of a catch 22 though. Retailers started catching on to our shopping habits, and then started competing with each other for sales. Now they (consumers and retailers) just feed off of each other. Retailers have to have the sales to compete, and consumers wait for that one day of the year to spend. Madness.

I don't remember Black Friday when I was a kid.

Well im in the czech republic so none of this mess, when i was in the states i never woke up up early to go to black Friday. Most of the stuff that where really good deals were stuff that didnt sell well in the first place. Your products that are in high demand will rarely ever be in one of those door buster sales.

Your logic has no place in American consumerism! :flipoff: :ror:

Add the day after Xmas too. You know where everyone is returning the stuff they paid too much for or the cheesy shit no one wanted.:ror:

That's not too bad, as long as you aren't wanting to return anything. :ror:

Yes, yes, and yes! LOL

And some of the years for me, were so far up North, we found something in the book, stopped in town at the 'catelog center' to order it. Then wait 3-6 weeks for it to show up.

Since we don't have "Black Friday" in Canadia :) i headed over to Canadian Tire and snooped around, they had a tool chest on for $130 reg $250, shop vac for $30 reg $94, 3 set of step drill bits $5 reg $20 and few other things. On the way home i stopped at Home depot to pick up some 2x4's and screws and saw a 18v Makita impact driver and drill kit for $200 reg $365. Still got Boxing day to look forward too :)
