You forgot some that many people do, the late 60 early 70's buick GS and Olds Cutlass. The ones with the 455 had more torque than most other cars. I believe the '70 buick GS actually had the most torque out of any muscle car (not sure). But anyway the '72 cutlass s fastback is my favorite because that is what i'm building.

However, Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords (August 2006 issue) recorded low-12 second performances (best: 12.257s), with trap speeds of over 117 mph (temperature 66 degrees F; humidity 46%; pressure 29.9).

You could actually buy the Gremlin with a 304, but it wasn't much motor. De-tuned and smogged up, and only a 2-barrel carb. But if you had the Levi's edition, you were still cool 8)
