Im getting 2 sets. Im def. getting the rc4wd rock crushers because the scale look, but the ones that count are the ones I will be using the most which is going to be the next set. Im leaning towards the hpi rock grabbers, Whats your guys imput on the best rock crawler tire

Ask 10 different people, probably get 10 different answers. Well, maybe 5 different answers. In my opinion, top 3 right now are Panther Cougars, Proline Chisels, and the Hot Bodies Rovers. Rock Grabbers are really good, too, but in my opinion work best on jagged, ledge style rock, not smooth river rock. I have been trying the RC4WD X-Locks lately, and so far they are very good, but need a little more foam tuning.

just got the chissels have not tested them i have the rovers ordered have claws panthers i saw the chissle win at our comp this weekend but i am waiting for the rovers white dots and will be testing next weekend

well here is florida the only rock we have is jagged cause its all man made, I think those hpi's would work great because if its not rock its sand or mud down here, Alot of the rock crawling area I goto have sand in between rock which add for a little bit more technicality on the lines.

This question is like asking which political party is better... I love my hpi rock grabbers, and in the little more grippy rock they will go much further than the hb, but on smooth rock they cant quite go as far.

I have run against them all and the Panther tire is still the way to go.

Even Austin Dunn when he had the chance to switch from the losi to another tire went with Panther. He is one of the most competitive crawlers I know and if he thought there was something better that's what would be on his rig"thumbsup"

Ask bender what he is runnin right now!

Chisels have my vote. Panthers are sittin on my bench. We have more jagged stuff here though.

Jagged stuff does not scare me a bit with the panthers.

Agreed with the Panthers. Still the best tire on all of the terrain I crawl on. You MUST get the foam setup to truly appreciate these tires. Rovers are not bad, nor Claws, Chisels or Rocx, but the Panthers bite harder than all of the others on the market, that for me is the deciding factor. Additionally I think that the Panthers, when you order from TCS (hint hint TCS :)), are the most reasonably priced of all of the competitive tires on the market. Can't beat that "thumbsup"

I do like the panthers in most conditions are wednesday comps are at the same location they are rocks of all sizes and have gaps and spots where the panthers hook so good it pulls the tire into the gap and no getting it outonly with the hand of god where the claws do work better in that situation but then again thats my opionion.
