Im building a UGC fastback II rock bouncer/crawler. It will live life as a dual purpose rig. I have search several different ways for something that can work (wheel wise) and I have come up with the VP DH 2's or the Mayham Engineering double fatty live weights. Im thinking for this application an Aluminum wheel is a better choice. I may be totally wrong on that.
What is your opinions good or bad or what other suggestions do you have? Thanks in advance.

OH yeah and I searched this one also and came up emtpy. What do you reccommend for a electric screwdriver for removing the beadlock screws. I almost got carpul tunnel the last time I undid the tires on my crawler. Didn't know if there was any spacifics to look for in one or not.

ive ran alum rockstars and the ez-locs "trail kings" on both of my southern buggies...

i must say the ezlocs let me achieve greater wheelspeed because they are lighter = less rotating mass.

i dont run any wheel weight in my wheels on those buggies.
front to rear axle weight difference is 2+oz's..using the parts i used
and having the battery up front helps out as well.

you could also use knuckle weights to keep from using weights in your wheels.

happy hillshooting!! "thumbsup"

thanks Roland BTW love the buggies man awesome. I have the weights inside the wheel right now but you can tell a huge difference when they're not in. I borrowed a buddy of mines wheels just to see once with everything stock electrically out of the box. I plan on going up to brushless after a while but not right now. I may drop a couple dollars on a wraith motor just to get a little more wheel speed but nothing crazy right now. that comes later. Tekin Pro 4 and RX8 ESC. IF I can fit it somehow in the FBII chassis. May not happen due to space.
Have you had any problems when bouncing off of rocks like say on a flatter surface when not hill climbing?

If you go with Mayhem Eng. wheels I would look at these wheels. And they are on sale. Check out or web page.

Thanks Mayhem Eng.
I looked at those last night and i gotta say im torn on which ones I like best. Im not sure a heavy wheel like the double fatty is my best choice right now until i can get the power in it. After the motor and esc is done would the double fatty be a better choice?
Again what is a good choice of electric screw driver for the beadlock screws? Any suggestions especially if I go with the 16 hole or 12 hole?

what do you mean?

the rockbouncing buggies crawl ok,not great..main purpose for them is hillclimbing..mainly due to how my suspension is setup.

the swamper sx's work very well in both conditions hillclimbing/rockcrawling.

as far as elec drivers i like to use my dremel duo..
