Have any of u guys tied these shocks the Traxxas Big Bore. I just got a set and was wonder what every one thought. They seem a little short to me.

I use them on my scaler. However, I did the cap mod and extended them a little with some link ends. This also allowed for better movement than the stock mount. I ended up putting internal springs in them to help my scaler right itself a little better. Before I added the internal springs, it would just droop over on one side or the other and stay there. It took me a little effort, but I love them now. To me worth the effort since I got them pretty cheap.

I tried them on my crawler, but they were too short for my rig.

A lot of guys use them, do a search for the cap mod, you'll find some good info. "thumbsup"
You can get an 8 pack of the 4" ones at tower for a little over 60 bucks.
I personaly like them set up in droop config but to each there own.

here are some pics to show what the cap mod looks like.

Any of u guys have any issues with them leaking after the shock cap mod

this is the set I got.

Those are the same ones I run with the rod end mod. I use a little sealant on the rod end screws and have never had a problem with leaking at all (been running them about a year without touching them). The longs may be a little short on a stock axial chassis (ya can use longer rod ends for a little more length) but they will give ya all the articulation (highly overrated) ya will ever need. Very good shocks
