Blingers, ti-stick, Japanese looking, world’s edition, berg super, thing!

i like the direction your going. what are your thoughts on the 3rd gear? i guess if theres a week ling youll find it quick with the 300m's and 45t hw's. keep us informed. by the way cant wait to see it.

viva los supers"thumbsup""thumbsup""thumbsup"

I am going to have Dean cryogenic-ally freeze the gears to add more strength. Knock on wood, but i have never personally seen a person break a gear. I have heard of it though.

The worlds are coming fast and I am running out of time for this project. WOW, this is one tedious job. I must have 2+ hours into 1 tire and still have 3 more to go. I wish I could find a plastic Jato beadlock.

Anyone know of some?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

I started with some hot bodies whites, and Bob Smith IC-2000 glue. The biggest issue was matching the bead size to the jato rims. It was a pain in the arse, but I think it turned out great. The tires are stock width and sit at 6.5” tall. For foams I glued some stuff together, and made it work.

I used to have xtreme RC hobbies do this for me. But I think they went out of business. Anyone know?

Now this build makes me want a Super "thumbsup"

As far as the 3rd gear questions, if he's running the same gear ratio, would the strain on the drivetrain be equal?

I cant wait to see that thing run, looks bad azz"thumbsup" The chassis mount holes look a little close together, lotta leverage on those;-) The Ti is tough chit though...

The tie rods were made from some of our “OTA” tierods. They’re bolted together for mock up, but the new steel ones should be here soon. If the berg super gets popular, we may offer a super conversion kit online. Including the longer tie rods, knuckles, tubes and metric 10t pinions.

Sweet build up. "thumbsup""thumbsup" Seeing this is making me want to start tracking down parts or a possible conversion kit from you guys... for the non-existant Super class in VA.

The overall width of the rig with the wheels and tires on is 13.25”. "thumbsup"

The tires should work great.

New to CKRC is our “Twister” series of American hand wound motors. These have Lay down brushes, big 9mm comms, and dual FB9 Wet magnets. These motors have huge torque at 1000+ rpm and awesome drag brakes. Until the 10T metric pinions come in, I used 12t Robinson pinions for now.

Our new CKRC 11.1v, 1300mah “30C” lipo is installed.
The steel tierods arrived and the body is on. Check it out.

The tires touch upside down!8) And yes, my body is to USRCCA super class rules.

I came to work a little early to start wiring the car. I should have some pics in a few hours.

All that should be left is:
1. Install the electronics, and wire it up nice.:)
2. Install the 300m super shafts when they arrive.
3. Test, test, test

.

wicked cool. Good stance. You'll like those narrow rovers on a bigger rig.

I am going to be switching from my clod axles to berg axles in the near future for my super.

That thing is awesome! Been thinking about redoing my super, crap might as well just toss the clod stuff away and order up another berg.

only thing is, I don't think I could run a stick chassis...

thanks guys. It works great so far. the rear foams need a little work, but it should be dialed soon.
